Do you have an AdSense Accoun? And if so how much have you earned so far?

I have so far not succeeded in getting an Ad Sense account although I feel I deserve to get one. One has to keep on trying and that I have not done.  My Youtube account has an opportunity to get paid.  I see Ads but have not earned a single Cent.

Is it worth following it up?  How much is the maximum amount anyone here has been paid?

I don't do Adsense which for me is a total waste of time. Clicking sites like that where you get paid whenever someone clicks the ad you posted is not worth my time and effort and like youtube there's only a tiny fraction of people who are earning from it.

I would like to have an Adsense account. The problem is I don't know how to do it. I have learned from advertisement from YouTube that there is a lot of money that you can receive from it. I hope I could make one someday.

There are bigger ways that one could get to earn money such as writing for sites owned by Big and popular companies and for that reason, I don't see any rational reason that I can own an AdSense account. One thing we need to understand is that technology is bringing lots of changes to the way things are done and it is by following the trend that we get better at the end of the day.

There is a good point in what you just mentioned about because personally I have earned quite a lot from writing some good piece for lots of companies and in fact I chose those I wish to write for based on their pay. This is one good way to make money on your own framework and time without having to spend much time worrying about if your Adsense is going to pay you or not.

Those two are very different things, so you're right in the sense that trying to use AdSense like that is probably just waste of time nowadays, and it's affiliate sales that really make you actually earn something from simply writing stuff. Better to sell the content for those willing to pay for it upfront.

It's true that selling the contents for those that are willing to pay for it is the best move for us. I always say that the world of affiliate marketing is never easy at this period in time when many things are now getting off the line.

I don't have an Adsense account for myself but my blog partner has. And whenever Google would send a remittance notice, I will be informed because I have a share in the income. From what I remember, the blog was earning $100 in less than a year but it was much bigger when the blog was still active. I also have a plan of putting up my own blog but it's not for the purpose of earning money. However, Adsense looks good for that part because we cannot deny that money makes the world go round. At least the earnings can serve as consolation for the efforts.

That is a clever thing to do and that is to have a blog in partnership. Having said that how will Google look at it in that is Google aware that this blog is in partnership and if so then why you do not have an adsense account.
Can you tell me how to get this partnership in blogs?

Only a tiny fraction of people are earning from AdSense, because only a tiny fraction of people are willing to put in the effort that it takes to make a decent living out of AdSense programs.

Take YouTube content creators for example. I'm very active on YouTube, so I like analyzing the activity of smaller accounts and seeing their performance grow (or shrink, depending on how much effort they're putting in). So many people make poor quality videos, upload infrequently and inconsistently, and then they have the gall to go around shouting "Where is my revenue?!".

My point is that it isn't going to work for everyone, but with proper strategizing and effort, AdSense can be a great source of both passive and active income. However, if you're not willing to put in the time/effort, have patience and the knowledge to market yourself properly, it isn't going to work. That and if you're doing anything (be it writing or video-making) for the sake of monetizing it through AdSense, you're doing it for the wrong reasons.

I have a partnership with youtube but I have not earned a single penny so far. I have allowed them to place Ads on my videos and that way they earn from advertisers and are expected to share the profit with me but they do not do it.

I hear that it is hard to earn money from Youtube now because of the so-called "Adpocalypse". There are many YouTubers that are getting their contents demonetized because of YouTube's stricter rules. It's hard to start now as a small time youtube channel.

Getting paid by ad sense usually depends on the audience, like by clicking the ad or even watching the whole ad, that's the time you'll actually get paid, in terms of having your YouTube your source of profit. And I think this year, like if you're trying to earn money from YouTube, it would be really hard, like I've seen YouTubers switching to being a game streamers rather than doing YouTube or creating one. But all in all, it actually depends on the audience watching your videos.

Having a good niche you base your work on is what would determine the kind of audience that you are looking forward to getting to view your ad or simply click on it. If it's not about something that would offer them any form of value, then all your work would be a complete waste of time.

I have created an account to a similar site but not particularly adsesnse. I can not say that it is a great way to earn an income but what I can say is that it is an easy way to do so. You just view some ad and get paid. However, I would agree that there is not much growth there. The real purpose of doing freelancing job is developing and polishing your talents. That is why I think that you should go and find others that can help you do so.

I think you got yourself in a PPC. They have low pay and can be considered slave labor. You don't get that much money for the effort you're giving your work.

You should pursue other fields in freelancing because as you already said, there's no growth in a PPC work.

Good luck!

I do have an Adsense account on one of my sites, and to be quite honest, I am not having any luck with it yet! I am trying to strategize how to get my traffic to click on the ads without being annoying or too pushy. I thought about just installing one pop-up that the visitors would HAVE to click to get to the content, but I might lose traffic for including such a mechanism. I think I stand a better chance of monetizing my sites through the selling of products or services. I am sure many people out there have had success with ads and AdSense, but, unfortunately, I have not quite yet figured it out.

As an adsense publisher, I began in 2007. After being accepted into the program, 11 years later I have earned approximately 9k from adsense. That's almost 1k a year thus far. This year though I am already at $600 in earnings and it's only February, so it's looking like this will be one of my best years. It does fluctuate though. Some months you earn cents, others dollars. You have to realize adsense has changed their 'what counts as a click' rules many times over the past few years. So some publishers doing REALLY well, dropped a lot because of that.

You should have seen my first year... it was pretty bad and I felt discouraged but then after I started doing more marketing and SEO it just bloomed over time. I am now making ten times more than what I did initially. And I do agree with you... some months are better than others.

Yeah everyone starting out doesn't do gangbusters with adsense. That's why your advertising money in bulk, will come from being contracted by companies or businesses or people, who want to buy ad space in bulk from you.

Yes, I have an AdSense account and I currently use it for my blogging website. I applied for it a while back already and got accepted but I have friends that have very good websites yet keep getting rejected. Your earnings obviously depend on many factors such as impressions and so on. How much have I made so far? I don't really tell those things in specific numbers but let's just say that I can make at least 300 euros per month just from AdSense. But obviously, it does take a lot of work.

I have AdSense on my gaming site, more of as a secondary earning opportunity because the amount you get from AdSense just isn't that great unless you have an extremely large site. I have earned around £9 so far since about October, mostly from just views and a few clicks. It's not great but it's not too bad as a secondary earning source especially since my site is still relatively new and still growing.

It will grow, don't worry. You also have to make sure that you have the proper key words implemented into your google adsense account. Lastly, make sure your page is keyword and text rich within your niche. So google can display 'relevant...' ads.

I haven't registered to AdSense but, as far as I know, smaller youtubers or- even the bigger one has AdSense. It is a short commercial or advertisement before or during the video. Usually, it is how youtubers earn aside from gaining views. My friend is a small youtuber, he sometimes earn 100 dollars per month, or sometimes he earn smaller than that. I've always dreamed of being a Youtuber but because of my Clinical Intership, this keeps me busy. AdSense does not pay in fixed, but rather it fluctuates; sometimes you earn some, sometimes you earn a bunch.

Youtubers as of late have been earning a lot less from Adsense though. Mostly because of Youtube's guideline and policy changes when it comes to content.

I have a couple of online working guidelines that I've been following:

"The bigger the company I'm working with, the more competition I have, the lesser I make"

"Good money comes from lesser known small to medium enterprises with history."

Adsense is a complete waste of time to me, I tried it out before and discovered its not worth it. A food friend of mine recommended making use of Ezoic for my online business plans and website issues. I'm still evaluating how good Ezoic is before I jump into it.

AdSense is not really worth it to a writer, because your website needs some content other than simple texts like that, and if you go for e.g., review type of site, you're better off going after affiliate sales than banner or inline ads, because most people block ads anyways.

So for OP I would recommend that you re-evaluate your earning strategy.

I think if your writing website is a feature site? Like an online space where you feature your work, hire out your services, etc... then you can do good money from adsense through visitors or clients who visit your site and are interested in purchasing your services.

Thanks @SiamSEO for your input, it's indeed very helpful because after my review about getting into AdSense, it's crystal clear not to get into it. Just like you pointed out that most people now block ads, there is no way to earn money from making use of AdSense when people wouldn't see your ad.

I don't have an Adsense account but i think its a good source of some income... but of course you still need to work on it. I think it's wise to first establish your audience before adding some profitable Ads. The strategy is to invest first on your site and audience, when you think your site is stable and have a decent amount of traffic. I believe it's the right time to put ads on to it, it may not be a full proof plan but i think there's a lot of options if your site has a stable audience.

I also don't have an ad-sense account yet. I see the potential in it's earning though. Even if it's pennies if you do it right I think you can make some good money. Remember every little counts. If you can make even one penny online, it's nothing to frown upon. Remember they are people who want to make money but can't make even one single penny. I would advise those who are calling it a waste of time, to do some research and learn how to do it.

I hear from Pewdiepie that it is hard to start a YouTube channel nowadays because Youtube has many restrictions now. As far as I know, there are requirements that your channel need to fulfill first like a 10,000 subscribers requirement? Something like that and other criteria for the amount of time spent by users watching your videos.

Seriously ? Last month I enquired to Google Adsense and they said that you only need to have 1k views and 100 subscribers to be able to have an account to them. Youtube bloggers usually earned money not because of the likes but because of how many views are their videos had and they are also earning because of the Ads on their videos.

YouTube is getting really strict now and they are demonetizing more videos today than ever before. Most YouTubers are resorting to selling online merchandises to their audience because of demonetization. PewDiePie even claims he is earning more from his merch compared to his ad revenue because most of his new uploads are getting demonetized.

So the works of the Youtubers now are under valuing by the Adsense? That's sad to hear.
