Which topics do you excel in writing?

There are so many topics one can write on without breaking a sweat. It can be on religion, education, ICT, health care and wellness, entertainment, sports, gaming etc. It's not possible for one to be well versed in writing on all these subjects but there are definitely some of them or more which aren't listed above that one excels perfectly in writing.

Which subject/topic do you excel in writing?

I think I could write well if the subject is about video games, technology, finances, and sports. These are topics that I read about daily. I learn new things about them almost every day and that may be the reason why I am comfortable writing or talking about these topics.

Finances are actually something I love writing about too. I’ve always been interested in budgeting and saving - ever since I was a teenager - and I love sharing that kind of information with others. I think it’s great when people can take control of their finances as a result of reading something useful.

Wow, it's great to hear that you've been very interested well-read on finances as a teenager. When I was a teenager I tend to avoid topics about finance because I was not good at math and I thought it would be complicated. But now my view has changed and it is one of my favorite subjects.

I fancy anything on sports very much because it's my favorite niche. Sports is 80% my life, so it's very easy to get into and have something concrete and depth written without any stress.

I also appreciate doing a piece on technology as well. The world is growing rapidly towards technology, so it's an interesting concept to write on.

I am not really a writer and I only learned how to write articles some years back when I was trying to improve my written English. It was a stroke of luck that someone invited me to submit blogs knowing that my passion is dogs. The niche of the blog was pets and it was as easy as pie for me to write about that subject. I simply plucked some anecdotes from my own experience and most of my submissions were published. I guess my forte is writing about my passion.

Passionate writers tend to pull lots of people to like and follow their articles without fully being aware of their work getting the attention they are drawing.

But the trick behind the success of passionate writers is that they pour in their feelings into their contents and provide more picture on what they are writing on. People do love reading such articles written with emotion.

Aside from technology there are more interesting topic out there that it can be a good subject to write an article. Just know what people wants to hear and read and there you can start searching for that to start making an article about it.

You know it is believed that if you are passionate about something, say sports you could write excellent content about your favorite sport.

As an MMA fan, I did in the past try to blog a little about the sport. I ran out of steam quickly because I couldn't write interesting articles that readers would enjoy.

I suppose the fact that you like something doesn't guarantee that you can write excellent articles about it.

Personally, I think that the prospect of writing on technology is one of the most interesting topics to be ever discussed currently.

Technology is evolving on daily basis and this makes the topics to be engaged in discussions endless. When you think that you have seen it all, suddenly boom, a brand new tech is launched.

That is a good idea. Connecting your own experiences with your content is a thing that must be considered by the writers. Stating some experiences can make your readers relate to your topic, you can touch their souls and hearts with you experiences. They might feel that they met a friend within your story which is a very positive outcome.

Knowing others experiences in life,what kind of life they have been through then at the end of the day they became successful and yet they still humble is something that really inspiring. Many has this kind of story and they make that kind of experiences as their sources of strength and keep on moving forward.

That is one thing that I love the most,to inspire others. Inspiring others should inspire yourself first. Your experiences in life and hardships you were encountered before and how you survive is the best tool to inspire them. It should come to yourself naturally.

I agree. Writing about an interesting topic is a good way to express your own thoughts. You will just find yourself being carried away by the topic and you'll create a good content about it. As long as your enjoying it, there is no doubt that you will excel about that certain topic.

Seriously, I haven't seen much written on music and songs ever since I started working online as a freelancer. If my memory serves me well, it's just only one site or forum that I can remember ever coming across that has a music niche.

I think that the music niche isn't much appreciated online unlike the other topics which most sites focuses on. Music is life and it should be discussed more often.

Honestly, I am a master of none. I don't also consider myself as "Jack of all trades". I just do what is asked of me to write and do my best to finish it. I personally think that I am not yet on the level where I consider myself good at a certain field. However, I love writing poems that mock people of their habits, which I also do to myself. I was actually so delighted when one of my poems got selected for publishing in our school paper.

I am not that good at any topic but I love writing fictional stories. I do believe that as long as I enjoy writing about a certain topic, I will exert my best on it. I just find writing as one of my hobbies. I sometimes write different topics to practice more of my writing skills. But I am still a work in progress that's why I can't say that I am the good in writing.

For me it's usually personal anecdotes and recollections about my travels. I'm passionate about letting people know about great spots around the world to visit, and it's easy writing about them when you've experienced them yourself - it always feels much easier to write about things you know about very well.

I would say that I'm comfortable writing in Entertainment Topics from Movies, TV Series, Cartoons and Anime, anything entertainment related. Sports and History are two genres that I also like writing.

Sports is passion and writing on it is going to help you gain a lot of followers as well. I don't really fancy writing on it as I have lots of clients to write on when I am focusing on my relationship topics. You should try to expand your sports coverage to reach out to more people as well.

Thanks a lot my friend for the wise advice over there about expanding coverage. I cover local sports and international soccer mainly from the European leagues which are the most favorite at the place that I am from. They are also the most watched.

I have experienced writing different topics from health, home appliances, product reviews, weddings, and travel. But among all of those, I find writing about parenting easier to discuss. I cannot say that I am an expert in that topic but because I am a mother of 2 now, I can easily relate to the topics. Ideas just keeps on pouring out and it is not hard to complete even a 1000 word count required.

I'm really interested in health so I enjoy writing about all matters health. Some writers claim that they can write on all topics. That maybe true, but your writing is different when you are writing on a topic you know alot about and a topic you love. This is where you get new content and you give your own fresh perspective from content you know so much about. You need to know something well to have an opinion about it and to write about the issues in a unique way.

I have to admit that health is the topic that I like the least. Maybe because I'm not really that knowledgeable in it so I find it hard to discuss. I would have to read a lot of references to make sure that I understand what I write and I am not giving out wrong information about the topic. It usually takes me a long time to write about it and find myself stressed out to meet the deadline.

I don't want to brag, but I guess my strong suit is anything related to information technology. I mostly write about cloud computing, programming, digital marketing, web designing, and more. I'd love to write about other stuff too, but I'm not sure if it will be taken seriously as I still lack experience on certain things. Nevertheless, I'm willing to do research and learn.

I think I can say that it is about gaming. Why? It is because I have more passion into gaming and with that I can write more information. I'm not a professional gamer but I have the idea and the processes within gaming industry. First and foremost, I'm not a writer. I enjoy writing about photography and filmmaking, so in terms of writing, I guess you could say I excel in those areas. However, I feel like I excel more in actually taking photos and making films as opposed to writing about them.

In all actuality, as long as you have knowledge of a certain topic, you're in a better position to write about it than someone who has no knowledge, so I'd recommend using that to your advantage every time!

Well the topic that I like the most to write about is meditation and Yoga. I do practice Yoga and Mediation on a regular basis and I am very comfortable in writing and elaborating about these topics. I think in the Twenty First Century the problems of Stress and Depression have taken over the happiness and Peace of each and everyone. But I got interested when you also said that you do movie and anime reviews through writing. I'm always around people who are interested in the paranormal. And I read a lot about the paranormal.

I consider myself an expert in this area although I haven't had a paranormal experience myself. That's why if I'm creating content about the paranormal I don't even need to do any research because I've amassed much knowledge about stuff science can't explain over the years.

Irony of it all is I never do any paranormal related writing preferring instead to create content which helps people become better versions of themselves because I'm one of those people who want to leave the world a better place than they found it.

@thejoyrevolution, I think that sports is the best thing to write about. Most people especially the female population view sports as something that is dry. If you try and follow sports you will realize that its one big soap opera. This is the male version of sitting down and watching soaps. Sports is really interesting to write about. I used to hate sports but I began to follow the premier league. Now I follow all types of sports.

It is true that no one can excel in all topics under the sun. My interest is Economics and Finance, but sometimes also topics like how to write a research article or more specific areas of interest may also trigger me to write. But my research interest is in Economics and Finance and as it is very much related to cryptocurrency which I find it to be a hot topic in many discussion forums, that allows me to "blast" my experience and knowledge to the readers of the forums.

I don't excel on any particular topic. I use to write when I worked as a civil servant. Part of my job as a writer required me knowing how to do thorough research. If you can properly research any subject you should be able to write about it. That's been my experience.

Writing article to the newspaper is my favourite as it gives me the satisfaction that my opinions that touch on social issue are conveyed to the society. Regardless of whether public agree to my piece or not, what is important is people are made aware of a particular issue and they start to discuss about it in the social media.
