How do you increase your audience?

Hey there dear community!

I'm a new blogger (I have an investment platform), and my audience is quite low in amount. I have around 50 people at the moment, most of whom are my friends.

How do you advertise the blog properly to increase followers?

You can increase your audience in your site by trying to share your link on your social media sites. Through that, you can direct the traffic in your site. Social media sites are great platforms for advertising. You can also search on internet on different ways to use social media in advertisement.

The first and the most important step in blogging is right at the start. It's choosing your niche. This is because what you blog about will definitely determine how people run to your blog. My advice to you is to write engaging content. Study social media activities. What are those posts that get the most views doing that you are not? Learn from them. You should also share your stuff on as many social media platforms as possible. The key above all else is to write stuff people will want to read.

My best bet for marketing a blog is the social media particularly Facebook. You probably have an account in Facebook, right? Find a Facebook Group that is related to your niche. Join that group and express your passion by posting regularly. After a week of doing that the other members of the Facebook Group will see you as an established member. That is the time to post your marketing spiel about your blog.

Increasing audience is a problem that all bloggers have. I suggest you use your social media accounts to promote your blog. Another use of social media is to follow groups and pages that you think will benefit from reading your blog, in turn you can make full discussions with the members while also promoting your site. Another way is looking for similar blogs like yours and exchanging comments with the blog owner. Why not try doing an exchange of promotions with other blogs? You promote them and they promote you too. I'm sure a lot will be willing to help you out.

Joining social media groups is a great idea to increase your audience. Make sure when you enter one, create engagement first. Place comments that are helpful on the niche, then promote your blog to give the impression that you are a person that can be trusted.

Indeed. As a blogger, you don't necessarily have to visit these forums and groups by yourself. I know some who hires a freelancer to do all these things for him so that he can focus on other aspects of the blog like content, etc.

That's a good way to go about it as it would leave the blog owner more time to focus on the blog. And yeah, I think that hiring someone to post and interact for you is ideal. I honestly haven't really thought of that! Thank you for mentioning it!

Before anything. I think you should check the content of your site. A catchy introduction would be a good start for the readers. And I agree in using your social media account for more viewers. Just give them the link of your site tell them to try to read it. Happy blogging.

I agree with you, catchy intro is everything. Because if your intro is a bit dry the visitor/s might close the tab even before reading other contents.

For me, if you have great content, your website is very pleasing to the eyes and your products (if you sell or whatever) has a high quality, then your audience will increase by itself. Of course, constant promotion in social media is also a big help.

Nowadays you can easily promote your blog via social media but you must prioritize your content first. Even though there are many available readers for your blog, if it's not the content they are interested with, more likely they'll just peep into your blog then leave. You have to choose whether you'll write something which you have the most knowledge about or write what other people wants to read. It would be easier though if you'll stick with what your readers want to see but it all depends on you.

Well, for me, the most effective way to increase your audience is to share your contents on social media accounts. Be everywhere as much as possible. Let your friends and followers know what you are up to on your blog. Also, even though you have the ability to draw a lot of people, it would be useless if you don't have the quality and the quantity.

Two things - marketing and providing quality content, it goes hand in hand. You do marketing to increase the people that visit your blog, but if they don't find your content interesting, they'll probably not visit it anymore. I know it depends if they are interested in the niche or not so consider targeted ads when doing you're digital marketing campaigns.

Building an audience takes time for everyone who is new to blogging.

Those who've some experience blogging can grow their audience in a relatively shorter time because they already are familiar with the terrain. The lucky ones get to have relevant traffic after 60 days. Some take six months to a year. It all depends on a good marketing strategy and quality content. Being in the right place at the right time might play a factor too.

You have to have a lot of content and attraction for your audience. They need something to see, want to know something and absolutely want to be amused. There are plenty of people who would love to see and hear something that would interest them whether it is something they like, catches their eye or even something that they are intrigued with. One thing you can do for sure to increase your audience is spread it to your friends. Creating blogs and vlogs can be tricky and hard but it would pay off. First, make sure to put out content relevant to the target audience of your blog. Market it thru social media, join groups and/or forums and be active on them and once you have built a connection and rapport with the members then that's the time you advertise your blog. How do you increase your audience? I am not a blogger and I don't have any experience in blogging so, I can only give an opinion base on the side of a reader. I usually enjoy blogs that have a lot o valuable information a lot of good content and visual representation. Reading blogs that creatively made are always fun to read, and when your blogs are fun to read more people will surely follow your blogs.
