I think that I prefer my writings now in digital mode as it is very convenient and very easy to make since I want to make use of the technology that we have for now since before I am using the traditional way but for now I am slowly shifting to digital as it makes my writings more easier and comfortable.

I still write on a piece of paper since I don't often hold gadgets. I am always comfortable writing using pen and paper even I made a lot of erasure. I wasted lots of paper. I am always satisfied and contented with this kind of manner. Plus, i always want to exercise my hands to write not only to improve my skills but my penmanship. I don't want to detach myself from the basic. I transferred everything in gadget if ever i want to post it in sites.

Practice is good. The only reason why I enjoy writing on paper is because I have a good handwriting.

That's nice. You have a point about exercising your hands and improving your penmanship. Are you taking up calligraphy by any chance? A friend of mine got me in to using fountain pens. So writing for me I'd always use my fountain pen. I think it's more environmentally friendly considering I only need to buy ink for it.

No. I didn't take up calligraphy. My reason for writing is to simply not to forget the basic skill in writing. I want to use and exercise it while still I am able to do so. If you haven't notice, your handwriting will change depending on how often you use to write. If you don't practice or make use of your hands, you will have the difficulty in holding a pen to write. I observed it when I don't write for several weeks, Every time I hold a pen and write I felt some pain and slight difficulty to hold. I want to feel that I am still complete.

I keep a journal until now where I write every night so I still make use of the traditional mode. I also do like the convenience of using a computer because there are no more paper being used thus less ecological footprint.

Hello! It's nice to know there's someone here who also use a journal! Aside from using my journal to write down my daily adventures, I use mine as a planner. I use it to remind me of what I need to do for today. Sometimes I even sketch on it. My journal is pretty much a lot a of things for me.

I would prepare the traditional writing. It is more artistic and full of feelings. For me having a written letter is more touching than a computerized one.

Yes, I agree with you. It feels good to hold it and just read it by yourself. It's more personalized. It's good to read even if it's old. The memory is retained. Sometimes, i am happy to see my old writings and I can't believe I wrote it.

It depends. When I'm in a meeting at work and need to take some quick notes, I like to use a notepad and handwrite my notes. But if I'm writing a script or brainstorming ideas for a video, I absolutely love Google Docs. Makes it so easy to collaborate with everyone else involved and access my documents from wherever I am.

It depends with the situation and the type of work. When I'm travelling, I prefer using my phone notebook to write. In the comfort of my house I write in traditionally.I later edit my work digitally.

Writing on paper is more productive for me. I keep a journal but that's where i write down my finished work. I've also joined a few journal groups on Facebook, I recommend you all try it. But due to paper being too precious just to be wasted and thrown away, I do my draft on my laptop. So I guess the answer is both for me.

Writing in digital form is more convenient than the traditional one especially for those who had a hard time writing too long. It gives you the convenient of easy editing and sometimes it has the potential of autocorrect in your grammar. However, for those who have a beautiful handwriting, it's much better to choose the traditional writing. It is more personalize and can showcase your beautiful penmanship.

A bit of both for me, really. I usually write out rough plans on pen and paper but as I’m working on things I prefer to write using google docs for speed and the ability to auto save.

Its either way around. I like both traditional and digital but I do mostly digital since I have here my laptop with me. Sometimes I prefer traditional especially if I can instantly think about a good topic to write.

I always use pen and paper for drafting. There was a time I thought I could do all my writing online but after Google locked me out of my gmail account several times because they didn't recognize my IP (I used to travel a lot) I realized that I couldn't cope with that aggravation and decided to "go old school."

I'll only write and save my drafts on a computer when I'm ready to upload (to a cloud storage account) or submit what I've written.

I used to love writing my ideas on notebooks, I remember scribbling down almost every idea that came to mind. I now have hand tremor or essential tremor and I am unable to write properly. Ever since I was diagnosed with this condition I have used my phone and laptop as my main medium in storing my ideas and works. It was hard at first since I was so used to writing my ideas first before fleshing 'em out on a computer but when you really love doing something you persevere to make it happen.

In the last couple of years I started writing essays on my phone and I love it. Paper is great but I often have to check how to spell a word and phone is really helpful when it comes to this, plus I hate wasting paper! (among friends I am famous for being extra eco-friendly)

It's all digital nowadays, it's the norm and I just love it. Writing stuff on paper is a thing of the past, it's like the telegram or mail which became obsolete because of the internet. Besides Digital Media is easier and more convenient, it's also 100 times faster when it comes to editing and sending it.
