Do you ever tire of posting on forums?

Forum posting can sometimes become the same old and without much needed breaks when you are posting on forums you can sometimes get burned out and lose interest when posting on forums.

I know from time to time I have had to take breaks and either go off and do something around the house or maybe head out for a walk or head out to the shops for a while just to take a break from forum posting. This also helps to keep fresh ideas in my head for when I finally come back to forum posting after my break.

Do you ever tire of forum posting? What do you find helps you to prevent you from getting burnt out on forum posting so you do not lose interest?

I usually don't get burned out by posting because I'm doing it on the side and I'm into different forums that I can alternate. At some point, though, it would seem that I've seen all the posts there is and the only way to post is by starting a thread. On some busy days, I'd completely avoid posting on forums. When there's a lull in my main job, that's the only time I make the rounds of the forums. Hence, I've no reason to get bored with forum posting. I guess it can get tiring if you're forcing yourself to post for the sake of post count which a lot of people do.

It's the same thing here for I sometimes take breaks from posting on forums to refresh my mind and try to always talk with friends to free my mind. Taking posting on forums that serious can make one burn out quickly and lack ideas on what to write on such forums.

What one sees in a forum is a thought process of several users. Each thought is interesting giving the other user an opportunity to think and comment or respond. Posting threads on the other hand could be cakewalk for those who know how and where get ideas from. Sky is the limit to writing a thread on, keeping in mind ofcourse what is permitted in a particular forum.
That small amount that one earns for this activity serves as an incentive and that keeps the interest going.

Admittedly I do start to feel burnt out at times after long sessions of posting. But I could say the same for just about any activity out there. No matter how much I enjoy something, I'm going to need breaks while doing it or else time just starts to feel like it is dragging on and on. At that point I know that I'm going to start feeling burnt out and I should stop for a bit before I start practically hating what I'm doing. Not to mention it's a good idea to just get up and refresh your mind once in a while, as you'll find you perform better when you get back.

I like to post on forums, and I do not so far experience a major burnout. I like to engage with other members, and read their post to give me better insite as to what they are posting about, and I find them very helpful. I sometimes take breaks from the forum posting because I dedicate much time to answering opinion surveys, and get lost for hours on many servey sites.

To be honest, I do feel burnt out if I try to post on forums for a long period of time. In order to avoid feeling burnt out, I have initiated some breaks in between to do other fun stuff. I find that it is easier to keep posting if you have passion in the forum topic. Your posts will feel more natural and fluid besides requiring less time to process.

The problem with people specially if they are paid to post to forums and sites is that they take it for granted to the point that they don't even follow any rules or just post anything they want just to get paid. I've seen a lot of people like that and it saddens me because they area somehow making writing passion as a joke or a pass time that earns at the same time even though they don't like the topic, but it's like it's their obligation. Sometimes they wouldn't even proofread their posts specially on forums that they don't have interest with.

I very rarely get tired of posting on forums. I don't know why but I find it so interesting to read and post my own opinion. I've honestly learned a great deal through it and made some incredible friends that I talk to every day. I just always try to find threads and forums that are fun for me to participate in. If you're on a forum that doesn't interest you then I agree that you will get tired of it and most likely burn out.

Anyway, I think that taking breaks is crucial with any work so you can regain focus and motivation. I take breaks around every 30 minutes. I just go to the other rooms, or on a short walk, eat something and so on. It helps a lot.

I've been posting a lot to different forums with different topics lately. Somehow there are times when I feel tired of posting that I end up exiting without completing the post. I love posting to different forums, however, maybe I need some time and break to gather myself and my thoughts again. That's why every now and then, I make a schedule as to when and how much time will I focus on posting to forums.

I guess it has happened to me once in a while but I don't remember many instances because most of the time I do enjoy just posting on forums. I'd say I even prefer it to discussions on social media platforms because it is much more specific. The only time I get a bit disappointed when posting on forums is when there are no new posts from other people so there is no new content to read or reply to, but otherwise, when the forum is healthy and thriving, I enjoy it a lot and rarely get tired of it.

Yeah! We are just human after all, there are times that we don't feel like interacting in forums because we are lacking ideas on posting. Sometimes we need a break to refresh our mind, take a nap and relax for a while or do other stuff like playing games or listening to music.

As for me, I can say that it depends on whether am posting a thread, or commenting on one. Posting a new thread can at times be more more brain straining and energy draining that physical work out. This is because your content is a whole new idea, that has to create interest in the readers' minds as well as invoke them to comment their views and ideas. As you know, most people are fond of just scanning through content, and therefore giving them something that will interest them, is a real gamble.

Well, my favorite part of any forum therefore, boils down to commenting on other people's discussions. It helps to quench my thirst for knowledge and I understand, a lot of different things as I read through them and then it also gives me an opportunity to thank them and also share what I think of their content. As we all know, people sharpen people just like iron sharpens iron.

However, both are involving and tiresome. When I get into this situation, at most times, I prefer taking a power nap to restore my mind to factory settings, or play a game on my phone, and in other cases just talk to friends on social media, just to create a distraction.

It never happened to me. Of course sometimes I'm not so good-humored or so inspired to write something and be able to participate in a collaborative way (because I don't like to just "post to post" without adding anything to the discussion).

However, I never feel disheartened or tired of continuing to write because writing is one of my favorite hobbies.

I don't post on forums so frequently that I get worn out. If I don't have anything to say or can't find any discussions to be a part of, then I take some time away from the site until some more pop up. Or I make my own discussions on topics I'm interested in so we can get some discussion on something I'm passionate about!

Like anything else you do in your life, it's probably all about pacing yourself. Don't do it so much and so repetitively that you wear yourself out from it. Moderate your behavior!

This is what I do often: I make my own threads that I believe a lot of people will get interested with and interact with fellow posters. That way, it doesn't just benefit me, it benefits the rest of us as well. Sometimes people tend to get afraid of creating new threads because they might get criticized and bashed. I don't feel it like that. I mean, I don't even care about what others are thinking. Lol

I don't get tired of posting in forums because it is a fun way for me to share my insights while improving my writing skills. I get to interact with people and this also improves my communication and people skills, which are the most important skills that I can use in my business. I don't get tired of forum posting because I do it part time to improve my skills. I spend more time doing other things I enjoy outside forums such as going out, hanging out with family and friends, eating, shopping, watching TV, reading books, attending seminars, and building my business. There's a balance on things that I do.

I do burn on and truth be told I own a blog/forum and I have to keep ideas fresh and constant. Because until a forum takes off its usually the owner who starts most threads and gets people posting. Which at times can be a hard thing to do. I am getting to the point where I pretty much covered most of the basics on my forum and I am going to need to roll my sleeves up and get dirty sort to speak. =)

Felt that one after posting a bunch of forums. What keeps me not totally burnt out is that I look for interesting topics, ones that I do not know and read about it. So, I research about it and learn from it. I will now have even a minimal amount of knowledge about such topic that I can share.

Yes I do get tired and then I cannot think and having something productive to write about becomes hard. I obviously have a favorite forum which despite being tired, I will make an effort to write something.

I always take a break and not log in the forum for few days then go back into posting when my mood is raised.

Taking break is one of the ways to get back at being productive at writing better. I always endeavor to take some breaks during weekends to visit some friends and family members to see how they are doing. Doing so always make me feel motivated to get back at writing.

Starting threads on forums can be a better way to get back at posting on forums for it will give you the chance to interact more with other members on what they feel about the thread you started. I also take breaks sometimes to get back feeling motivated at posting as well.

It’s called mental fatigue when you get tired of something like posting on forums. But that will pass if you will give yourself enough time to rest. Do some other activities so you can divert your attention and give your brain the needed relaxation with things you like to do. I have to admit that sometimes I would feel that posting on forums is tiring so I would skip a day or two. That’s not bad at all, just like taking the weekend off.

I think everyone does at some point. That's what breaks and ya know, life is for. I think forum or internet fatigue, even on a great forum community, is perfectly normal. But that doesn't mean that other circumstances such as trolls, or frequent arguments... can't accelerate the process.

No I'm not. I do posting in forums and stay there for only one to two hours a day, and that time I think is enough for me to do other things. Besides I'm enjoying reading some of the topics and the conversation with other members.

Yes, I get tired when I know that some forums will not give any benefit. I get tired if some forums have limited posts. I get tired of writing when this two scenarios happen.

I don't think you should let yourself get tired in posting at forums. You have the option not to post when you don't feel like it. Forums are a great way to discuss things with other people in the group. When you feel like you're not in the mood to post, you can choose not to. Just take a rest and come back to the forum if you are already into doing it.

I am a newcomer when it comes to writing and posting on Forums, therefore I have not felt bored or posting on forums until now. In fact right now i feel very excited to post on forums regularly. I think that the best thing that one can do while posting on forums is to post only on the subjects that you feel are very interesting and if one feels bored then it is better to take a short break and engage yourself in doing something else and come back later and complete your postings.

You would feel tired only if you really don't like what you're doing or if you don't pace yourself. Doing continuous posting for long stretches of time without any rest could burn you up pretty fast.

I never post in forums that I have no interest in. So posting fatigue isn't something I've had to deal with or will ever have to deal with. There is also the question of why you are posting in a particular forum in the first place. I'm trying to be a better writer and also in the process of learning more about SEO and internet marketing so I must be on forums where I'll get the information I need and also share what I've learned with like-minded people.
