Content Generation Idea: Regular Series Features

Content Generation Idea: Regular Series Features
Running a regular series of posts has a lot of benefits all round for your website and for your sites readers too! Very much like this current series of posts were running here right now on 101+ content generation ideas! This is because it gives people something consistent to look forward too either everyday, week or month, however many times you're releasing these posts. And these can all make for fantastic content too! Depending on your writing skills. And since they are a series on something, it can mean you end up with a ton of posts for your site or blog. Most of which will be evergreen!

Now the types of series you can run will really depend on the niche they your site or blog is in. However, virtually every niche will be able to come up with many types of series of posts. All you have to do is search around for these and you may already be able to find them in your niche. Which you can then remake in your own way, in a way that's bigger, better and more current. And I suggest doing that at first if you've never done this sort of thing before for ideas and inspiration. To see how other people / sites have done it and get a better idea of how it all works and how you can do it yourself.

But even if you don't want to look up and research them you don't have to! Not if you already know what you can make a series of posts on! All you have to do is think about some things you could make a series of posts on that your readers would really love and find helpful and useful to read.

These can come from top 10 posts. Even top 100 posts etc. If you already know of some great top 10 or top 100 posts or post ideas then you can use these to run your series of posts on. So instead of making one post with a top 10 list or top 100 lists on them. Make a series of posts on each item within those lists! Just write about each of them being descriptive about each and that's your content right there! Content Generation Idea: Regular Series Features

Then just post these to your site or blog once a day or as many times as you want! These are awesome because they really do keep people coming back for more! And you can link them all together too from one post (the first post) so that people can find them all. And it's probably best if posting a series of posts to post at least one a day. If they are quite simple posts. If they are quite comprehensive posts then you might only want to do one once a week or a month or something.

And there's not really much more to say about this and I just wanted to share this one with you quickly as a content generation idea. It's a really great way to come up with an almost endless amount of content for your site or blog. Plus your readers will really love them if they are interesting to them!

Just a bit off topic but I really enjoy your content generation idea posts and I'm sure a lot of other users on WordClerks also love them so thank you very for them. Back on topic, I think posting a regular series on your blog is definitely a great idea. I think the biggest benefit of them is that you can ensure that you have some returning users/readers who want to continue reading that particular series. If you can get some loyal readers then it is great for your blog.

You're truly right on this note in the sense that running a posts series can be an effective way to drive traffic to our sites and enjoy the presence of our blog members. Just like running a movie series where the viewers won't relent till they get to the last series, same thing is what we have with the posts series for it helps one to draw traffic to the blog.

I like this idea.I think it would ensure that you have content for a number of blog posts to come. The key is to keep your audience on a cliff hanger and wanting more. This would be good if you run a fiction blog, where you can include many parts of stories. I know a facebook book that has these stories and it's quite entertaining I can tell you. Though most stories involve a lover scorned, but I still tune in regularly to find out what happened in the next part.

This is really good for many blogs are trying to make use of stories to keep their readers glued to their seats and checking back on a regular for the continuation of the stories. Running a series is nice when we consider the various needs of the reading audience.

I agree@Barida. Great way to keep readers tuned and tapped in and coming back for me. From a writers point of view this is also a good idea because you kind of know what you are supposed to and you don't really need to scratch your head looking for new content ideas. There is an element of creativity but it is not as bad as starting from scratch. If you keep your readers on edge and waiting for more even better.

I welcome the series writing and will try doing it. The only problem is that I get tired thinking it is monotonous. However, it is a good idea. These series of yours are eyeopeners.
