I saw this 10 Inspiration Quotes to Keep in Mind image pop up earlier and thought they was pretty great and all very true too. And some of them I already say myself and have said before many times when it comes to finding success in life such as anything worth having ever comes easy!
If you want something in your life that's worth having, it's not ever easy to get it unless you're lucky. You'll need to work to get it or get really lucky and luck is even harder to find than your dreams are at achieving!
Anyway, here is the image I saw, and I've broken down each part into what I think they should mean and how you can interpret them and use them in your daily day to day life.
1. Go after your dreams not after people.
In life, people will come and go. But your dreams will always stay with you for the rest of your life until you either see them out and achieve and live them. So you shouldn't put your dreams on hold because of another person or depending on other people as they will hold you back from achieving them and there's no guarantee they'll be in your life for the rest of your life.
2. Love Yourself and the Rest will follow.
What does it mean to love yourself and the rest will follow? Loving yourself means being at peace with yourself. It doesn't mean being one of those very vain people that loves the way they look too much in the mirror. It means that if you are at peace with yourself and your life, everything else in life will be a bonus! It means appreciating everything you have (such as a roof over your head) or don't have and just being content, collected and cool.
3. Never Loose Your Sense of Humor
If you can make light of any dark situation. If you can see the funny side to everything even laugh in the face of death itself. You'll go far. Life is far too serious most of the time! But having a sense of humor can help you add levity to serious situations and make them easier to deal with. I love my sense of humor, I sometimes make myself laugh. I like to laugh with and at other people's misfortune on Rude Tube and Ridiculousness on TV.
4. Never Loose Your Sense of Wonder
Do you remember what you was like as a kid? How you was always curious about things in life and how all the magic in the world works? You probably do but later on in adulthood it's like some people stop wondering and believing in magic. They become cynical and cantankerous!
5. You Are Capable of More Than You Know
If you ever feel inadequate somehow, like you wont be able to achieve your dreams, don't. As time has taught, even the most humble soul has gone on to conquer nations! You have skills and abilities you might not have even discovered yet. You will never stop learning and realizing that you can do more than you even thought possible!
5. It Always Seems Harder First Time Round
This one actually says it always seems impossible until it's done. And it always is! Things are easier to do when you know how to do them. But you have to learn how the first time round! It's easier when you know how. That's why it's always easier to give people advice than it is to actually take their advice and use it.
6. Nothing Worth Having Comes Easy
If everything worth having was easy, nothing would really be worth having would it? Don't you appreciate the things you have more if you had to work for them? Whether you do or not, anything in life that's worth having is ever truly easy to get. Not always hard or impossible, but never really easy by all means.
7. Sometimes Plan But Sometimes Wing It
Sometimes you can make plans, but sometimes you just have to wing your way through it! Make it up as you go and see where it takes you!
8. Have No Regrets - Just Learn Lessons
What do regrets give you? Nothing but more regret! So don't regret anything but do learn from it so that you don't do that thing that you regret doing, again.
9. Your Only Limit is You!
You're only limited and defined by yourself and nobody else can limit or define you unless you give them permission to! How you see yourself and define yourself in life will be how you are in life. After all, as a man thinks in his heart, so he is.
10. Don't Wait life goes faster than you think!
Never put off for tomorrow what you can do today. You can make plans, but God just laughs at them! You never know what's around the corner or what tomorrow will bring.
