I've got a number of good quotes that I love Mike.

There is one my mom always says to me when I am struggling and you know what? I want to use that as the title for my eBook I am busy writing... The darkest hour is just before dawn.

When you read my book you will understand why I want to use it.

I love inspirational quotes, ones that make me want to go out there and get whatever it is I dream of!
  • All things are difficult before they are easy
  • A person who never made a mistake never tried anything
  • It is not what I have been through in my life that defines who I am, it is how I got through it that made me into the person I am today
  • Every accomplishment begins with the decision to try

Those are just a few that I can share What are some of the most popular Words an Quotes to Live By?

My favorite quote is united we stand, divided we fall. This call for unity among any group or government. Unity is a good way towards progress.

Have no fear cuz I is here.

Boom! - There you have it. ;)

Okay, seriously though, thanks for sharing these things, both of you. It's easy to get lost and feeling confused and depressed sometimes, and just a few words or a short sentence can have the impact to change it all. - That's actually something I think it's truly amazing. Words of wisdom or not, here's one I think is great.
The things you take for granted, someone else is praying for.

And even if this has no major impact of how I will live my life or so, it's still true.

I actually have a big notepad with quotes I saved over the years. Every time I come upon something I liked I wrote it down, everything from music, documentaries, and movies, but also a lot of books. The most numerous quotes I saved from a single book was "Fight Club" by Chuck Palahniuk - that book is just a quote fest from begging to end.

Some quotes I love (I just save the quote but not the source):

"Listen to me, the loudest one in the room is the weakest one in the room. "
"He who makes a beast out of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man."
"Be nice to people on your way up because you meet them on your way down."
"Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake."
"No fear. No distractions. The ability to let that which does not matter truly slide..."

The loudest one in the room is the guy who has superiority complex and all he can show is the bravado to jolt us. And I truly believe in that because I have met several people who are like that, so much with words but lacking in action. I once had a suitor who was a braggart and egoistic so that I declined his invitations for a date because I know that he will just be talking about himself. Oh well, life's like that, you can be cruel to yourself if you let them do it to you.

For me, the following is the most important quotes that everyone should try to live by.

"The most important thing in communication is hearing what isn't". That is a quote by Peter Drucker and I think can be applied to a lot of things including business or even personal relationships. It is important that you are able to read between the lines sometimes especially in personal relationships. Your partner might say that they are doing well but maybe something is bothering them and it's important that you are there to help them.

"You are selling your time; be careful how much it costs you."

First of all, I made that quote up believe me or not. After I thought of that, I immediately searched the Internet because I was worried that I could've been using someone else's quote all this time. Then nothing came up so I assumed, up until now, that, that quote doesn't exist yet until I made it up. I haven't tried mixing the words or phrases though when I searched it.

Anyway, I've been living by that quote for some time now and that keeps me focused on what my goals are and how I should accomplish them. The road is bumpy but I guess that's just how it goes. Gotta live with it.

When I was but a little kid,I watched a movie by Steven Seagal. Well, I cannot remember the name, but there
is this Chinese quote that goes, It is better to light a candle, thanto curse the darkness. This quote has proven of help, when I get toface an obstacle in life. Instead of lingering there and ask, why me?, I am
motivated to look for a solution.

Last butnot least, there is a quote coined by Dennis Wholey, thatgoes, expecting the world to treat you fairly because you are a goodperson is a little like expecting the bull not to attack you because you are a
vegetarian.
This has taught to always give my best at all times, without expecting the same.

My English teacher showed me this quote, that I totally love: "Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always".
We are always judging, and making critics about others, without nothing what they're going through. So before you make an opinion about someone, try to consider that person has a life, that it might be full of problems, so the less thing that person needs is more negativity. Let's try to be kind without judging, do good no matter what, and you will put some sugar on someone's day.

My favorite quote is "If you want to get something you never had, you have to do something you've never done". This is about getting out of comfort zone and be the person you need to become to get your goals in life. The goals that we have are obviously the things we never had before so in order to get them, we need to change. It will require s to do something different for us to get a different result. Each time I apply this quote and step out of my comfort zone, I really enjoy getting what I want while I enjoy doing the things I haven't done before. It made me happy.

I like your quote, I have one closely related to it.

"If you want things done properly then do it yourself."

People normally assume that they can't do alot of things but they never bother trying. If you put your heart and mind into action you can accomplish a lot of things.

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." A very important quote. It means treat people with respect and kindness if you wish for them to do the same to and by you. It doesn't always work out - but it's always how you should start any new relationship. Business or otherwise.
