I don't know much about word clerks but I think that you can list your services. I think that word clerks is mostly about writing services. You can create a writing service and when a client is looking for writing services they may come across yourself. Check out the community discussions for more direction. I know that people have ways that they advertise themselves so that their services are noticed. When you find out let the rest of us know.

I agree with you. Creating list for services is the only means I know. You can extend to this services to earn money. It is a good way to start and try to know what you are capable of. Writing good quality content is essential for a site and it's a good earning venture.

Ah, I don't know if I'm allowed to mention another website on here but there's a site I know that has the same type of earning money like this website, you put your services or put a bid and wait for someone to like buy your services, but is this website limited to only about writing services?

I have the same understanding when I joined Wordclerks. Aside from the forums, you can post your writing, data entry and other admin services as an advertisement or as your resume. People or businesses looking for such services will contact you to avail. I haven't really tried doing it but I hope I got how it works correctly.

Go to the market place and create a service and if someone orders then you'll get paid. It's as easy as that. Although depending on your service and price, the market can be pretty competitive. I have to admit that even I have not fully utilized Word Clerk's market place up to now.

Exactly! Utilizing the marketplace of the Clerks communities is one good way to earning money from the site but just like you mentioned, there is always competition in the market because there are so many freelancer looking at making money from the system always.

Yes, I also think the competition in this certain website will play a big on whether I can earn here or not, and it also depends on my writing skills, if I'm good enough for this kind of job.

Don't mind the competition.

All services are priced differently so how successful a seller you end up to be, depends entirely on what you promise to deliver and how fairly priced your service is.

Getting that first sale is pretty important because before you do and secure positive feedback, buyers might be wary about hiring you/paying for your service because they don't know what to expect.

I equally wish to know about how I can make money from this site. The other time I went to the "create a job" a job section, and as I filled the required fields I felt the section I was in was for those who wanted to hire a freelancer to get a job done for them, whereas I'm the freelancer looking forward to do business with people who may be needing my services.

I believe it is pretty much like Fiverr. You advertise your services and clients will try to avail the service. Or as a client, you post for a job and freelancers will bid on it.

Martinsx1
Exactly! It's almost like Fiverr but a little bit different in a way because I would say that getting jobs on Fiverr is quite done in a discrimination manner unlike the Clerks community.

Here is a lot more better than Fiverr in my opinion and experiences.

I am not aware of that. When you mentioned "discrimination," what exactly do you mean?

It's not so difficult to earn money through all the Clerks communities on the platform. It's very simple and easy to set up the possibility of earning money here.

Go to the marketplace and set up a service, it's one of the easiest ways to earn from the site.

davedaot04
Well it's easy to set up but the thing is the competition, there really many people on hire setting up services and of course people would choose someone that's better or that produces an amazing services, so for me it's about improving my skills in writing because I am just newbie in writing industry because I just found lately that I enjoy writing, quite surprised.

No one has mentioned the clerks community affiliate program.

Even if you are not selling a service directly on any of the "clerks" sites you can still earn some money as an affiliate. If for example you've seen an interesting service and know a buyer who can pay for it, you can refer them to the site using your referral link. If this person pays for the service, you'll earn a commission. So that too, is another way you can earn some money here on Wordclerks.

There is also the possibility of buying and reselling a service. You find a client who is willing to pay more than what the service costs, you come out here, pay for the service and the freelancer writes the article, deliver it to you customer and collect your money.

You have to market yourself quite nicely in order for people to buy your service. You must provide a good description about yourself, your expertise or why would they choose your service among others. Good description of yourself and the quality work that you can give to them at a good price can catch the buyer's attention. Just exert time and effort to market yourself in the website. Make your description catchy.

These are such helpful tips for me. I think I have not fully "toured" my profile as I have not put something that can market myself nicely.

I think that we can also earn from this site aside from posting on the different topics by offering our service or skills into the marketplace where some clients would buy for it in a negotiable price. We just need to post some of our expertise and clients will just decide if they are willing to buy for our service in exchange for money.

I have not fully visited every aspect f Wordclerks. But what I do know about it is you can list your services and someone will buy it. Also, I join in discussions through Postloop to get paid by commenting or posting.

Thank you for opening this topic up. I also have the same thoughts. I wish to learn more and everyone is being helpful. Aside from that, we are able to decide easier because of the different advices receive. As far as I know though, this site is mainly for posting services which you can offer online. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
