Since coming up with content for your own website or for using in marketing campaigns is not always easy for everyone and you can sometimes hit that writers block. These content generation ideas will always be here for you to turn to whenever you need some ideas and inspiration for it!

Content Generation Idea 8: Instagram Feeds and Comments

You obviously know what Instagram is by now. But did you know you can utilize it for coming up with fresh and new content generation ideas? Instagram can actually be harnessed and utilized in many different ways. Both for establishing your brand online, for pulling in new clients and for content gold! The thing to do here is to follow those other influential leaders in your niche and industry. Then look at their posts and the comments they have on them. Sometimes these comments are questions that ask them how to do something like "how can I x" or "where to get x from". Where x is their product or service.

Now most often than not, these owners of those Instagram accounts don't have the time to answer all of these questions. But for those that do, you can use their answers to those questions to come up with ideas for content. Usually the answers are fairly short, but sometimes they are quite long and go into detail on things. That's where you can find content gold!

From those answers given to those questions, even from the questions that get unanswered, you can find a lot of ideas and inspiration to come up with content that covers these asked questions in much more detail. Especially the ones that do have answers on them. Just read the question and answer, then think about how you can ask and answer that same question again in your content. Chances are, these questions will be relevant and applicable to people in your niche so they'll want to know!

Now another thing you can do here, remember how I said at the start of this series how this wont just be about content generation ideas but also serve as a way to get some free promotion and advertising too? Well you can utilize Instagram posts and the questions that people put on them. Since sometimes, they go unanswered. This is where you can come in!

Go in and answer their question. You wont have to leave any links and I don't suggest you do. But if you just answer their question in an informative way, that will create a link to your profile anyway. Those same people that asked the question originally can follow you from your answer and will do so and respect you for it too.

Trust me when I say that some major influencers and brands on Instagram get a lot of comments and questions on their posts. Just look through those that have the most, have a quick scan to see if there are any unanswered questions, then go in and answer it yourself. Do so in a way that appears to be more about just wanting to help someone than it is a free plug though!

And that's basically how you can use Instagram to come up with content generation ideas and how you can use it (and the accounts of your competitors and rivals) to get a free plug and free advertising and promotion at the same time!
