Content Generation Idea: Using Product Reviews

Content Generation Idea: Using Product Reviews
Product reviews can make for some really great content for your site. Especially if they are reviews on the products and services that are within your niche. And some bloggers actually just write reviews only for their blog content and even make their own reputation from doing just that! Of course, not every site or blog might be set up to do reviews on things. But you won't have to change the niche of your blog so that you can post just reviews on things. Just review those sites, blogs, products or services within your niche that your targeted audience would likely be interested in. All you have to do is find out about what these things are and then review them! Just try to remain impartial and unbiased in your review of it. Try to talk about it as though you actually have 1st hand experience with it. Make sure to cover all the most important parts of it, the good, the bad and the ugly. Make sure that it doesn't sound like a sales page and that you're doing the review because you want to help people who are interested in it to know all about it before they buy it.

Write the reviews yourself or outsource them to someone else.

And you can write the review yourself or you could outsource it to someone else. You could create a WTB on here for example asking for a product review to be made on some particular product. Or you could say that you want the review to be on something different every week but usually within the same niche. That might work better since if your competitors know who you are on here and are following you they might be able to know what you're up to although it's not really a big deal.

And there's not really a lot to say about using product reviews for content other than this. Product reviews really do make for great content for your site or blog. Especially if they are reviews on the things that your targeted audience are interested in buying. That can earn you some kudos as well as affiliate commissions if you're posting an affiliate link or banner in your review!

Do you use product reviews for content for your site or blog?

How else do you come up with product reviews if you're not writing them yourself?

Writing product reviews for your blog is actually a good idea because it can help you to develop your blog and bring in some extra readers. And you can actually move into the reviews market because it can actually earn you some extra revenue. Companies will happily pay you to try out their product and to write what you think of it. You could also write reviews for products that you have affiliate links for. By writing a good product review, you can influence the amount of sales that go through your affiliate links thus earning you a decent amount of commission.

Once I wrote a product review for a company at payperpost. I got paid $10 which was my first ever payment online and I was super happy. However, it is hard to get anymore review tasks from there. Writing product reviews that I had tested is much easier than writing a review on my own blog.

I think product reviews make great content especially for a blog. However i think this can be a very expensive way to generate content. To write amazing product reviews I think you have to use the products. It would be expensive to buy each and every product that you review unless you are making money already from your blog. For a newbie this may not necessarily be possible as they may not have the money to buy the product. A product review is also not a guarantee you will make a sale.

Reviews can definitely be a good idea for content, as long as the products you’re reviewing have some relevance to your site or blog. For instance, if a beauty blogger was reviewing eyeshadow or mascara I’d see that as completely normal and a good fit. If that same blogger was reviewing motor oil I’d be confused and wonder what the relevance was!

Writing product reviews is definitely a great idea to write good content. If the product has the potential to become very popular in the public due to its quality and you are able to write in detail about this product then it will definitely attract a lot of people towards your review If people buy that product after reading your review and find that the product is good then your credibility will also increase and people will start trusting you and your reviews.
