Content Generation Idea: Using Product Reviews
Product reviews can make for some really great content for your site. Especially if they are reviews on the products and services that are within your niche. And some bloggers actually just write reviews only for their blog content and even make their own reputation from doing just that! Of course, not every site or blog might be set up to do reviews on things. But you won't have to change the niche of your blog so that you can post just reviews on things. Just review those sites, blogs, products or services within your niche that your targeted audience would likely be interested in. All you have to do is find out about what these things are and then review them! Just try to remain impartial and unbiased in your review of it. Try to talk about it as though you actually have 1st hand experience with it. Make sure to cover all the most important parts of it, the good, the bad and the ugly. Make sure that it doesn't sound like a sales page and that you're doing the review because you want to help people who are interested in it to know all about it before they buy it.
Write the reviews yourself or outsource them to someone else.
And you can write the review yourself or you could outsource it to someone else. You could
create a WTB on here for example asking for a product review to be made on some particular product. Or you could say that you want the review to be on something different every week but usually within the same niche. That might work better since if your competitors know who you are on here and are following you they might be able to know what you're up to although it's not really a big deal.
And there's not really a lot to say about using product reviews for content other than this. Product reviews really do make for great content for your site or blog. Especially if they are reviews on the things that your targeted audience are interested in buying. That can earn you some kudos as well as affiliate commissions if you're posting an affiliate link or banner in your review!
