This is a great list of ideas and many I agree with. I really am drawn to the one about content of dreams coming true. I think all people need inspiration, especially in tough and crazy times like it is these days. When the world around you seems like it is falling apart and you wonder how much more could you possibly take, what is there to hope for.... that's when we most need to have hope and believe that dreams can come true. While you can of course do this through fictional stories, I personally always find non-fictional stories about dreams coming true to be much more inspirational. I feel that when it is a story of a real person, it makes you feel a little as if, "If that person can overcome their challenges to achieve their dreams, then maybe I can to." I think that's part of what good writing gives us, hope and inspiration to be better.

The 20 types of content that you have listed here are great and I'm sure that if there is anyone that doesn't know what to write or has run out of ideas for their blog, they can take some inspiration from your list. I think the best one has to be the story point. Everyone loves a good story and it will always do well especially if it has a message in it that inspires people. Any story where a person started from the bottom and with hard work, they have made themselves a success will do extremely well because everyone loves an inspirational story like that.

Maybe my best bet is #21 – giving a fresh point of view. It’s just like the homily of the priest in the our church. He always talks about something that we already know. It seems like he is just mincing the words. In writing parlance, that priest is just rehashing old blogs. But a guest priest surprised me when he started mentioning about the carabao that is happy during the rainy season because it is not hot. That simple trivia gave me the motivation to listen very well. That’s what I call a fresh POV.

I agree with you. The demands for content are changing. People are no longer looking for the long analytical type of prose written and dished out by magazines like the Economist. People are looking for content that impacts and reflects their lives, that is written in a friendly and conversational tone. In my opinion that's why traditional print media is dying and blogs are taking over in terms of readership and content creation.

I am glad to find this article. It would be a really great help in finding topics to write and talk about in blogs. I agree in the things you have listed since I also enjoy topics that you mentioned in #1 and #2. I enjoy content that inspire people to see that we should value our stay here on earth and do big things as much as possible.

I read a lot of articles on the internet. However as time has gone by it is becoming harder for me to find an article that I really like. I actually can't remember the last time I read something that touched me. I think that for blogs to find an audience, you need to find content that people like to read but that is written in a different and interesting way. Content on self development, spirit , health, relationships and food is always popular.Your sucess in these fields will depend on how your content is written and the quality of information it gives.

I agree with you completely on this list that you have mentioned in the post. I think that each point in this list has tremendous potential of creating very good quality content which can be useful to all. People are generally searching for something to motivate them and something that will help them to progress and go ahead in life. If you are able to come up with positive content which can provide them a lot of inspiration and hope for there life then you will be able to establish your credibility and benefit from it in the long run.
