Can you write great quality content on demand?

Almost anyone can write well after proper preparation. But, can you write on demand? That is, can you write something amazing on a moment's notice? I'm not talking about writing a quick reply to an email, but writing content that someone would be willing to pay for. If a buyer came to you and asked for a really well written (and researched) article in half an hour (on the topic of their choice), would you be able to produce?

Half an hour for a high-quality article? Well no, I would have to refuse that client.
I can write good articles, no great, I'm not a native English speaker, but giving enough time for research and for creating a good article structure as well as writing the damn thing, I can achieve a pretty reasonable article in a couple of hours.

Depends a lot on the number of words, I had a 2000 words article that took me about 30 hours to finish, the client was really impressed but I wasn't, wasted to much time compared with what was I being paid.
Bottom line: Sure there are writers out there that can create fabulous content on a moment notice. But most of us, I think need time to create something truly good.

Depending on how much information or knowledge I have about the subject. In some case I go off and research it about more in depth. Then I will be able to know more about the topic at hand. But yeah most cases can write on demand specially if it is area's of my niche.

Hi,

I don’t think it is possible to write on demand content within half an hour. As you have mentioned if someone is willing to pay for it, which means it’s won’t just be a simple essay or article. It have must a unique content, and to create a unique content within half an hour specially if you not aware of content required by the
buyer, extensive research it required for that.

But yes, if it something that you know very well and you’re aware of it, then I think it half an half is possible, depending on the length of the unique content.

Thank you

If a buyer came up to me and asked for a high quality article written in under a half hour, I'd tell them to wait until scientists have created the ultimate artificial intelligence to fulfill a request like that. Okay maybe not but I definitely would have to decline or ask for an extension. I absolutely do not believe that it is possible to create an article of high quality and detailed research in that amount of time, no matter how good you are. Perhaps I could scrape something together, but it absolutely would not be a reflection of my high standards or the client's high expectations.

I think that half an hour is too little time to write such an article without any prior preparation... it's better to refuse a job than to get it badly or half done. That only damages your reputation as a writer and therefore I would have to refuse the client.

Even if you have some sort of knowledge about a specific topic, doing extra research is extremely important because many pieces of information get outdated, there are constantly new things developed and new researchers prove different things. I always do extensive research on any sort of topic that I write about. No matter how good I think my knowledge is. Learning more is never a bad thing.

Also, as a client, you should always have reasonable expectations from your writers. Telling the writer ''you have to finish this article in 30 minutes'' doesn't do you any good because the quality might suffer. It's better to give them an extra hour and that it's top notch.

I think half an hour is too little time for me to churn a material. Even if I am an expert on the subject, I will need to construct the content in a way which is suitable for the client. It is important to put in some time to research the exact details of the topic required by the client. II can give them a draft in 30 minutes but not a complete product. However, if they are fine with my 30-minute job, I will definitely complete a transaction with them.

It would probably depend on the topic which the client would need to be done as soon as possible. But I doubt that anyone can finish a great quality content under an hour. It would take an hour or two or probably more since we are talking about great quality content here. Even if you have knowledge about whatever the topic is, you would still spend more time researching it and modifying it since for sure there are a lot of similar contents already on that topic. So you'll have to be creative at some point.

30 minutes to write a quality content articles is impossible for me. I would take a few days to a week to write a quality content because I needed to do research on the topic that I am not familiar of

Depends on the number of words that are required. If it is a short article it should not be a problem. It also depends on the topic. If it is in my list of interests, I could give it a try. I have written at iwriter where there are time bound projects but they are for about 2 hours.

No I can not write on demand. I need time to think and prepare what I am going to say before I write it. And some times I have to go over the draft many times before I am happy with the final product. My longest revision an a article was 180 revisions before I was finally happy wit the way things turned out.

If it's afternoon or evening? Probably. At early morning time though, probably not. I need my morning shower, and glass of Orange Juice or Apple Juice before I'm any good to anyone.

I have ever written a good quality content on demand. I was asked to write two different articles in 4 hours but the employer delayed forwarding the instructions to me in 1 hour. So I had 3 hours left. I had to start immediately by sketching the points of the two topics and then I started writing. I was able to finish writing both the articles and I had 20 minutes left. I had to proofread faster and edit it before it was too late. I finally submitted and they were both approved the next day.

I have to admit that it’s far too difficult to write on demand because the pressure affects your disposition. When I would receive an instruction in the office to submit asap a procedure or an explanation of a procedure, that really rattles me sometimes. But I could turn up a quality content much faster if there is no imposed deadline. Maybe it is in my psychology that when there is a demand, I tend to slow down and be very careful on what I was writing when in fact my writing speed is just the same.

Yes, I think with good motivation, proper instruction, secured ordering and fast payment system writing articles on demand would be no problem at all.
A deadline of 24 hours to 36 hours for short articles of 500 words to 1500 is doable and fair. While longer articles could take up to 3 days to complete that is for premium articles. But if the budget is for regular ones then any kind of article could be done in just about a day.

Just to add, in writing on demand articles, the problem usually comes from the client not disclosing everything at the start and most of the time doesn't give out the proper instructions. It's better if the article is submitted to a go between moderator or mediator, who will decide if the article is approved. Also the client should deposit his payment to the go between upon ordering so that freelancer writers could get paid with no hassles upon approval of the go between.

I can always write articles by demand, depending on the length and the topic, safe to say an article of 750 words could easily be completed in 4 hours, that's with a lot of allowance. If it's a rush article I could finish it in half the time. But if I'm getting paid a good amount let's say $30 per article I'll be needing more time so about 6 hours would do nicely.

It all depends on the topic and the number of words required by the buyer. If I am required to write on something I am knowledgeable on then I will probably be able to submit within half an hour. However, if I don't have much knowledge on the topic then it will be impossible. Researching is not an easy task. Nowadays, there is fake information on the internet. You have to make sure that you are including the right information in the article. Moreover, I like to make sure that my articles are of high quality. I try my best to produce an error-free work. I also double check my work before submitting. Unfortunately, it demands more than half an hour to complete all this.

Well it depends on the article, what is it all about?, or how many words need by that client that he only requires half an hour? How much will he pays you? What are the things that you should and should not include? Because if he demands a certain person giving only half an hour I think the client will explain everything in detail and not only deadline and article itself but other things to do to complete the whole picture. If he says I need only one paragraph, there maybe you can say "I can produce" but when the client need one to two thousands words half an hour giving you an unfamiliar article I think its hard to do. But the point is the client should explain everything in detail so that the writer can estimate his capacity or skills whether he can or he can't produce it.

If it's a niche that I'm comfortable with then yes, I can produce content. But if it's a niche I don't have any experience with then no I think I cant write a good one.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Kakashi2020
Yes if I'm familiar and comfortable with the subject. No if I'm not that familiar nor comfortable with the given subject. I really don't write content or accept any writing job that I'm not familiar with the subject. I really can't write good material for subjects which I don't have any experience with or subjects which are unfamiliar to me.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Kakashi2020
Yes I can, but only if the topic is one of my niches. If it's not, then I won't accept it because I know that the output won't be that good. One thing I learned in writing is you can only write quality content if you're an authority on that particular niche. If not then it's best not to accept such orders.

Well, i am a newcomer when it comes to the field of writing. I think it will be very difficult to write content on demand for a newbie like me but I am sure there will be many experienced writers who would be doing it every day .i would at least need a few hours notice to come out with a content that has some quality. once you gain a lot of experience then nothing can be impossible. I know people who can write beautiful poems and songs at short notice. similarly, there must be writers who can come out with the best quality articles on demand within a short span of time.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

It depends on my familiarity to the topic and the lenght of the article being ordered. If a familiar topic was chosen and it's only for a short article, I think I can manage to write a good one. But for me to write a great article for that short period of time, I think it's possible only if, I'm really familiar with the topic or if I'm an authority on the niche the topic belongs to.

Yes I could write quality content on demand, depending on the topic. I had a job that required a lot of writing and if it was a topic that I had a working knowledge of, I could quickly write an article.
