How many words do you use in a blog post.

Now I know seo content is great with the more words. They also allow a minimum 300 words but how much do you use on your site for content.
For me I always go over 300 words I do try keep inbetween 500 - 1000 words on my blogs some I do have just over 300 words which I will be editing these as I want to give as much details in my blogs.

Also anyone got any tips as I am good at blogging just lately tho hitting into a few blocks in writing wise which am not normally stuck for words.
I may also promote wordclerks and the other sites as love this site. I also want to know is it better for seo with the more words You have say inbetween 1000 - 2000 or more.

About 250 min up to 1000 max words per article. it really depends on how engaging the subject matter is.

If the article is about events, food and places it's better to keep it short. Or else the reader may lost interest.

But if it's about prominent people or if the subject is historical in nature, that's when a lot of details and stories are needed thus, making the article longer.

I was going to say 250 to 1500 words. That's because I have joined at blogging sites that accepted short posts and I think the minimum was 250 words. After that, I joined other blogging and writing sites and the submission requirements ranged anywhere from 300 to 1500 words. Any word count greater than that, as far as I'm concerned, I might as well write the article for TIME Magazine or start working on writing an eBook. How many words do you use in a blog post.

A beautifully written blog post which is neither too long nor short, which is both engaging and relevant is the best blog post you can produce. I keep my blog posts between 200-350 words only because people likes it that way.

The maximum any site that I have so far written for is 500 words. Even those content seekers like requesters in iwriter more or less stick to 500 words. While some have the gift of the gab to churn out a thousand or more words it will not come easily to all.

Normally, I would write 500 words per blog post but if the site doesn't require any minimum word count, I would go for 300 or less. I had never surpass 800 words in my lifetime of writing. I usually break the blog post into 2 sections to keep the readers coming in

500 per article is not that bad for as long as the content is of high quality, the readers will find it interesting a well. I always stop at 450 or less words per article or go to the contrary where I was given a task to do so.

I usually write about 300 words per post. That's enough for me.

It's easier to write using less words because we don't feel forced to come up with more ideas just to fill a word count. Also, it helps us focus on relevant information that readers will find most useful.

I am not well versed with the word count. The rule of thumb in my blog is from 2 to 4 pages long of a word document. On a rough estimate maybe the shorted is around 800 words? For articles shorter than 2 pages would appear very short for a blog unless you have a lot of accompanying photos. And an article that is more than 4 pages long would be kilometric already and can be a turn off for readers with short attention span like me.

The number of words that I use in a blog post largely depends on what I am writing. If I am well versed on a particular topic then I can usually write more. I always make sure that my posts contain more than 500 words. If your content is too long then this may discourage readers to go on reading at times. It must be of an ideal length.

I think the shorter your blog post the better for you and your readers. I also would aim for between 300 and 400 words. No one wants to read or write an article that goes on and on. It becomes boring and people tend to skip most if not all of it.I think give people all the information they need and keep the long pros for your hard drive. People have lot of choice on the internet. They are millions of publications to choose from. Make yours an easy choice

I don't literally count the words I used but the estimated paragraphs would likely last long for five to more than five paragraphs with five to ten sentences from each paragraph. Sometimes if I just want to write a summarize topic it would only take three to five paragraphs only. As long as your topic is clear, understandable and interesting then I think there's nothing wrong about it.

Considering my usual blog posts consists of images if not videos, I would limit it between 100-300 words. No one really wants to read long winding posts nowadays. It's all about being direct. Most readers now wants to get the information they need within 30 seconds and if not they'll just leave and find another resource to read or site to get it from.
