IBO Social Lets You Publish Free Press Releases

Would you like to publish a Press Release?

Years ago a friend invited me to join a social network for professionals. The name of the site is IBO Social and its official business description reads: “The largest small business owner social network, specifically for small business owners, online marketers, MLM, network marketers, and affiliate marketers.” The site provides a lot of free tools and resources for its members. This is handy for people that work online/freelance! I'd never heard of it before your post, but I'm going to bookmark it in the event that I do need to publish a press release in the future.

I find the site offers an additional way to generate traffic to the one's site. By posting press releases, one can get to earn a credit which can then be used to advertise our site. There are other benefits also joining the site as member.

I am also looking at the way that I can actually take charge of it as well. Press release is one of the areas that I've been looking at getting better on and to be frank, this is the site that I feel that is going to improve me on a lot of things.

Are there freelancers in the site that you know like those coming from this site? It looks like a good one although this is the first time I've heard of it which means it is not popular yet. As a bookmarking site do you think it can give my site a good amount of traffic? Pardon me for being too inquisitive. I just want to know if you have dug deep in the site that you already know about it very well before you shared the link.

The way I see it, the site is quite promising. There is no harm in trying it out. It is not scam for that is true. @commonspinner can answer this one better though.

I have never heard of this site, but have earmarked it so I can look later. Any publicity, anywhere is good publicity. It makes sense to use if if you need to network.

Well, I have heard about this site for the first time after reading your post. I definitely think that this site can be very effective for all the freelancers in there work. Maybe it's a new site and therefore not that popular yet. If it is offering its services free of cost then there is no harm in signing up and trying it out once. I will definitely visit this site and sign up as early as I can.

Thanks for this great information. I think that I may check out this site and write a few press releases. I have to admit that I have never really understood the value of press releases. Do they really help? I’m thinking in terms of your marketing efforts. Also I think that it matters what Country you are in. For example in you are in Asia I think that press releases would be less relevant to you, unless you are targeting a western audience.

I neglected to mention Google Ad Sense in the initial discussion. There are very active members in the IBO Social network that take advantage of a lot of features, tools, and resources. I created a profile because a friend invited me. He got credit for referring me. I have several social profiles but the IBO social profile is different for many reasons:

I was allowed to use affiliate links and Google Ad Sense to monetize it,
I could share links back to my websites and blogs (“Business Links”),
It has a Facebook Comments plugin; I can post as my page or as myself
IBO links are immediately indexed and can easily be found via general searches
There are lots of other features, tools, and resources like press releases, etc. I have yet to use.
