I'm not sure about PUBG being played by kids. Because the only players I know are adults with regular jobs. Kids here play Fortnite. And a majority of Fortnite players are kids. I think limiting mobile use is only natural specially during weekdays so they don't stay up too late on their phones and be sleep deprived zombies in the morning.

This is something I'll second. While PUBG might be popular among the younger crowd in other countries like China, Fortnite is the game that's take the battle royale genre by storm here in the United States. I haven't personally played either game yet, but my former roommate plays Fortnite regularly, and he says that a majority of the people he plays with (or at least the ones that use voice chat in game) are really young (and pretty annoying to play with.)

I think kids as young as 8 play Fortnite. You can judge by their voices. They do get annoying as they sometimes just do whatever they want in game and don't really play competitively. And they get really noisy too! Nonstop talking and yelling. Yes, yelling.

Fornite has become very annoying because of it's popularity. For the second year in a row now, Youtube is just filled with Fornite players
and videos that it's sickening. The cringy dances people do are also
annoying. And even if you aren't into Fornite, it just manages to pop up
in the news even.

This could be true in some places that they don't tolerate their kids to play some games but we could also look for the kids that have access on it. Technology is growing so fast and even kids wants to know about todays technology. It is their curiosity that triggers them to try it or some of the games like PUBG but this type of game wasn't for kids because it involves guns and killings so must watch those kids who play it.

I have learned that social media and games like that are designed to stimulate and manipulate the user. The more they level up, the harder the challenge and the greater the excitement. Those challenges excite them to reach the next level no matter what. People have the tendency of neglecting their meals and sleep because they are manipulated by those games.

I never tried playing PUBG but I am playing one that have same gamestyle like PUBG. It was called Ruled of Survival (ROS) and I'm only playing it at my mobile phone. I couldn't deny that this type of game is so addictive and I am also playing it daily. I usually play it after work or before bedtime and it was so relaxing and easy way to relieve my stress. I also met a lot of people when playing this game and I also joined a group so we could play together. But I only play it for 1-2 hours so I could still rest more.

The phases are never ending and this is where the addiction comes to play since you will always want to find out how to work things out on it. This is something that we should really take a look at as well when it comes to playing games online.

Never heard of this particular game but that’s a crazy number of hours a day to be gaming. If they’re students, how are they finding time to study? If they’re adults how do they have a stable job?! Goodness - I can’t even imagine having that many free hours a day to use, let alone spending them all on gaming.

I can tell you very well from my experience with playing video games that I have played some games in the past more longer than the hours the poster did.

This is actually something that happens when you become very addicted to playing a particular game.

Wow - I guess it really can be an addiction in the same manner as a drug can become addictive. I imagine it can make some parts of life very difficult when that’s the case.

It was already an addiction that's why they are giving all of their time about it. Maybe you are addicted also in other matters not on games thats why it is shocking for you to know about this. You could be addicted to work or some hobbies and it just feels the same way but it is about the choices where we could be addicted to.

I heard this but I never tried this one because I don't want to be addicted. I agree. How will the students focus on their studies if they tend play more and spend a lot of time infront of the computer or laptop or hold their cellphones for longer of hours just to play that game? How about their studies? I think they will have lesser time for studying important subjects.

Online gaming is one of the ways that we get to flex muscles with the rest of the friends that we have made all around the world. It can be an addiction, and I think that parents have a lot to do to ensure that things work better when it comes to that.

I have had this question for so long now and it's why online video games so addictive?

Even when you try so hard to not get hooked up to playing such games, once you start it, you are definitely going to find it very difficult to stop.

Maybe because of the challenges that you want to accomplish or you want your character to be powerful so you could beat any other players. Aside from that, we also earn or meet new friends in online games. It could be also a trending game and we want to try it so we could know what it is all about or why people are playing it.

I think it's good that sometimes you spend yourself playing those kinds of games as this serves as stress reliever but if its too much where in you spend much time playing than fulfilling you priorities then its really not a good idea.

Online video games addictive nature is getting out of hands with how things are happening in the gaming community.

The most annoying part is that these games are influencing the gamers behavior, attitudes and thinking.

Video gaming addiction is becoming prevalent particularly to the young adults aged 18 to 30. I know of some who do not work anymore just to play games. Unlucky are the parents of students who quit their studies because of addiction to the games. There was even one guy who died in a cyber shop because he was playing for longer than 2 days and 2 nights without a break even for meals or going to the toilet. He died of heart attack.

The increasing addiction of PUBG game: I am not familiar of this kind of online games but i do play some online games like mobile legend. I can say that all online games is addictive and hard to leave specially when you started it all ready but as what you said in term of the long hours they consume their time playing it then it was a big no no specially to the student, there should be a time mangement ang know how to control your self.

A lot of people turn to games to alleviate stress and escape reality for a few minutes of their time. What they do not know is that, they take those stress into the games because they do not know how to handle them. The end result? A game that is supposed to give you excitement heightens your stress to the point you fail to care for your meals. And worst, do things that would hurt you or everyone around you.

That's really sad. And yet how true it's become. A lot of people tend to neglect their personal welfare while playing these type of games. I'm sure we could all learn something from this. Always take care of your health before anything else.

I haven't actually played this game. But based on what I read, I can see why it's become addicting. A lot of players like the whole last survivor type of game. They enjoy the bragging rights and whatever adrenaline rush you get from playing it with friends and family.

Exactly. Even though that you don't know the exact game or how it works but you know why people are addicted to this kind of game. It was on what you feel and the joy that it gives when you play it with your friends or love ones.

Someone invites me to play this game but I haven't try it yet. They said its a good game and they were talking about that game and I was like "I'm feeling out of place" as they really enjoyed talking each other about that game and I can't relate. I remember it was my aunt's birthday when we got a reunion with my cousins came from the province.

I am not a game addict. I was glad that I can avoid playing addictive games like DOTA, Mobile Legends, Clash of Clans, Counter Strike and PUBG. I know these games are addictive and a lot of people hooked on it. I have a lot of important things to do and I don't have much time to spend on that games. So, as much as possible I always try to avoid playing those games.

This one is good for you. It is about your priorities and not on those games that you think you couldn't profit anything on it. It is always good to avoid some of the games that are very addictive so that your time could spent on other important things.

I guess, keeping yourself busy by doing other important things will help you get away from this game addiction. I was once an addict of mobile games but later stopped because of my workload and I needed to earn money. You know, earning money for my other needs and wants is more important. Lol.

I haven't tried that online battle game of PUGB. I'm not either familiar with it. I think I am lost with the updates of what's new in the gaming world. That game would be somehow interesting for gamer. Imagine those 10-12 hours spent on playing everyday. It's a lost of energy but they have that enthusiasm to go on even beyond that limit. I would be very exhausted and tired. I will have eye strain and blurred sight. Spending longer period of time on computer is not a good habit. I was once hooked in games but never end with that hours. I get to play but with break time.

I love playing PUBG but not so much of an addict. I actually enjoy playing the game especially when I am with my friends but when it comes to times where I am constantly playing then that is something different. I tend to play PUBG with my friends to have a great time or when I am bored or not doing much that is when i really play PUBG. I am not so sure why people are starting to get addicted to this game but of course it is their own risk and compassion. It is viral as of now but who knows when its time will come.

I have been in the past hooked with a game or two but I don't really get the allure of online games. I prefer playing offline games that have stories and have endings. PUBG is a game just like DOTA or Counterstrike where aside from the engaging gameplay, it is also a way to channel you competitiveness and that sense of winning and striving to win is addicting. It is okay to play games like this if you can also apply this winning attitude to your life in general.

Well, I can really see that it's very popular nowadays. But, this is actually not a problem, as long as you have something important to keep yourself busy at aside from playing this game. You'll really get addicted to it if you have nothing to do daily aside from gaming.

I think like in any other game, it's just the feeling of getting a reward that makes people addicted to games. In real life, there aren't that many opportunities to be rewarded. In games, it's basically the thing you are playing for. Everyone wants to stand last in PUBG and I must say it's very rewarding when you're the one last standing. Though what most people don't know is that the majority of the people they play with are just bots.

I'm with you on that one. Any kind of addiction is bad for you. it is especially bad for children who tend to lose focus easier than adults. I am not a big fan of children getting phones before they reach a certain age. My mom only let me had a phone when I got to college. It seemed cruel when all my friends owned phones, but I did not. Looking back right now, I'm grateful she did that.

I really haven't played it yet, but my kids do. Usually if my kids like it, I hate it. But maybe when I have some free time, I'll check it out. It's just I'm loyal with Blizzard Games and I'm playing Overwatch and WoW.

Pubg is becoming more and more popular now. Many predicted that everyone would forget about the pubg, but soon the second part is coming out and more than a million people have already pre-ordered. In this regard, many people forget about games such as Minecraft. Even on YouTube gaming, you will not find Minecraft streams. Nevertheless, I still play Minecraft and even create and sell servers. A friend of mine told me how he creates Minecraft servers, and it inspired me to start creating servers. It's not very profitable, but it allows you to attract new players to Minecraft and not forget about such a cult game.

Indeed, the PUBG game has made a legendary reform with the gaming community after the league of legends. The number of participants is increasing and this game is still high in the rankings of the most popular games in the world. In addition, the IO game series is also asserting its position equally when it covers a large number of countries and a large number of gaming communities. Typical in this game series is venge io
