How much did you get paid for your last article?
Sometimes writing articles could be quite lucrative. Getting paid between $100 to $200 per published article will definitely make my wallet fat. But oftentimes I get paid a lesser amount. The last article I submitted got me $30 which is quite low considering the time I invested in research and edititing my 1,500+ word article. Sometimes I just feel that it's very unfair.

It really is NOT easy--I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to give up the freelancing stuff, and then I will have a stroke of luck or some attention to what I am doing, and suddenly, I decide to stick with it and to keep producing content and to meet deadlines, etc. Creating a quality article, as you know, does take time! It takes a certain kind of dedication to our work to keep up this momentum--I wish you all the luck in getting that elusive and life-changing contract!
In the country I'm currently living in, the average person gets paid about $250-$300 a month. That's enough money to live well here. Let's say you make the minimum of $30 per article, that's only 10 articles a month to earn as much as the average person who works 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
Like I said though, it is going to depend on where you live. If I was making $300 a month while still living in New York City, I'd be homeless and hungry.
I actually didn't get anything for my last article since I wrote it for my blog
