Do you ever write about your Pet? Does your pet earn from this?

Youtube is littered with people making money with their pets. I enjoy these sort of videos a lot as I have a cat with personality. However, she writes, mostly on a Facebook page. However in the past, she has made me money on various sites by writing her own post. It may only be a cent or two at a time, but she has earned a fair few boxes of her own cat food.

Of course, all pets who write have a human secretary who interprets their wishes.

My question is, what is the value of writing about your pet. For me, (apart from the obvious bacon saving of a few packets of cat food on weeks I am broke,) it is the release of imagination, and also a kind of therapy. When life is tough, wrting about a pet can make you laugh. I also make a fair few cat owner friends this way.

Suffice it to say, they are all writers.

I don't write about my pet. However I have a friend who has a blog about their pet.She make loads of money from their blog. They tell pet stories which give them an audience.They use that audience to promote pet products either as affiliates or they have drop shipping stores. This is a good niche to get into. If you have the skill this is a fantastic niche to get into. You will make good money.

I do not know that everyone makes much money, but some, yes. It all depends really, on whether the skills you have include those to make your pet go viral or if you just write for a bit of fun. I would love to make my pet go viral, It has not happened yet.

The same is true with me. I do not write about my pet too. Others are making a lot of money with their pets.

Yes, if you have the skills, you'll surely earn a lot of money. Writing about pets is not enough. You have to fully research on what can really appeal to the pet owners.

I don't have a pet but my daughter does. I have never written about pets but I have mentioned the little doggie in a few of my post comments. No. The dog doesn't get a red cent for it! LOL.

When I want to make cat owners happy, I share cute pic of cats and kittens.

I haven’t done specific article writing about my pet, but I have been a member of pet related forums where members would discuss things about their pets on there. I never really considered writing about my pet beyond forum posting but I guess there does seem like there’s a market for it!

Pets are always passionate and writing about their passion is something that is going to fetch you some money. I have always felt that having a pet blog won't pay much, but at the end of the day, you get to see that it pays more than we can even imagine once we are focused on that.

My cat has a Facebook page, and when I remember it, a blog, but neither of those have made me money. It has always been articles or posts on sites. A lot of these are now defunct, but she puts in an appearance here and there and earns a dollar or two.

My experience with blogging is writing about pets because dogs is my passion and that is the reason why I was attracted to the offer of writing. I am not a writer and I did not dream of being one but writing about my passion is a different story. My blogs were not only published in the internet but also in a major pet magazine called Animal Scene. I had featured our dogs together with photos. That really made me feel that I was a real writer.

I don't have pets anymore and I never tried writing about them when I used to have. But if I will have a pet again, there is a chance to write things about my pet. Cats are adorable and with their personality, I am sure I will be able to write a lot of good things about them. It is good to know that you can earn from this. I never heard it before but I think the earnings will be a help to buy food and supplies for the pet.

I don't have a pet that writes as this is not what I really fancy about. However, it is always nice to see this kind of situation as it always go a long way to show us how cool and nice some of those pets can be when given the opportunity to express themselves.

My pets are dumb and deaf. Their illiteracy cannot make them write. Their human secretary,me, is busy ignoring the pets. It is high time they become alive and write their own stories

I've written afew articles about my pet but I haven't made a single penny out of it. I usually talks about her when she does something funny. Oh, I own a cat. Such a sweet one. Actually she doesn't need to earn to get a treat. She would just walk up to me, purr sweetly--and my budget's done for. LOL!

Yeah, my cat can do that too. Insanely, lately, she has become very interested in Youtube videos. You find yourself in the shop thinking "oh the cat would love that," and the budget is done for. Cats are the best and very, very funny whether they earn or not. Mine just kind of happened to.

I've seen Instagram feeds of people posting purely about their pets. It's like the pets themselves own and manage the Instagram account. Even the captions read in the dog's voice than a human. I see a bunch of this and it's a nice feel good source of happiness.

I have pet, but I never write anything about them yet, tho I have a lot in mind that I can discuss, for example, my pet cat, she always follow me on where ever I will go because they are so sweet and really love some scratch on their head.

There's this one time that I wrote about my pet dogs, it was when I had to write an article about dogs and luckily I'm a dog lover. But i really haven't done a blog about my pets. I don't think I could earn something from it.

When I was on my highchool year, I have this little story and it is a bit like adventure and one of the pet name there is actually my dog's name. I don't actually write story about my dog but I always intend to mix his name on every character I have on my stories.

Whenever I have the chance to write about pets, I would write about my dogs and my fishes. When it comes to making money, I don't really think that there's a viable way of making good money from it. Well you can make a few bucks but not a substantial amount.

I have never thought of this tho and would like to thank you for this idea. I do have a pet dog at home and had cats before and because I'm too broke, I can't afford the foods that they should be eating (please don't judge me T-T). Now that I've read about this idea, I will definitely start writing some blogs and might as well do vlogs with my pet.

I get where you are coming from. There are days I do surveys to earn the cat food. I have seen people ask for petfood on places like Freecycle or even advertise it there. Freya once got a huge box of upmarket food that way. I wish you well with your new venture and really hope it does bring home the pet food for your cats.

I don't have pets anymore but if I had one though I probably wouldn't start a blog for said pet. Maybe I'd post some nice videos on youtube and FB and if people like what they see, I could post more videos.

I suppose that is how a channel grows? It certainly is something I'll think about should I get a pet in future.

I dont have pets but I think the pets will earn from this not because they will earn or what but the love your showing to him it is like "in this blog, vlog my pet is here and i love him so much" The vlogger or blogger putting their pets in the content of their works is like they just do what they even if didnt paid for it. I think being paid is just a second priority. ????

I have pet before but I did not think to write any topic about it. But I post a certain video of my dog when he does a long jump while he was playing a basketball ball. He was tried to reached the ball from my husband hands. I posted it just to save the good memory in my you tube account by not thinking to earn from it.

I haven't but it is possible, there is quite an interesting topic. Maybe putting words of how they might talk or a story of there imagination perhaps. I never thought of writing about it until now so I'm trying to get more information about this topic.

Gosh, this got a lot of responses. I guess it is only fair to tell a bit more. "Freya, the Catblog Cat" is impressed. I am now wondering if there is mileage in adding advertising to a blog just for pets to chat to each other. It could even be a kind of "feed my cat" collective with agreement that money earned goes to looking after the members pets. Anyone fancy starting it?

I love cats but hate them at the same time. I hate how the snore sound that they produce. I would rather stick to my dogs. The bad thing is that I do not write about pets, and I am even busy to spend time with my dogs. I only used to have time to play and move around with my dogs when I was young.

The pet niche is a good one, only if you are passionate about pets.

Well, I am currently studying and I do write about my pets when I am required to. But obvious I won't earn nor my pet will earn from that writing. If I were to write about my pet and I earned, then my pet also earned. I could use those funds to feed my pet and create new moments with my pet so I could write a new one about my pet.
