Travel article tips and tricks

I have been writing travel articles more frequently and sometimes hit a wall on destinations I do not know about. Rresearch would help, but I'd like to have 2 or 3 go-to websites where I can just enter a destination and they would have useful information about a place, a city, or a tourist site.  Are there websites for these kinds of research, can you suggest some tips or tricks? Right now, my go-to is wikipedia but I crashed and burned with it that I find it unreliable that using it just makes me research some more.

I mostly have my research in www.youtube.com, you can watch and get tips everything you wanted to know. When you travel you should have prepared all the documents that you need and place it in one bag so that you can easily grab it anytime you need it.
