What are some of the biggest problems you face as a freelance writer?

3 Problems any Freelance Article Writer may Face and the Solutions to them
If you're a freelance writer then that's a job or even a career like any other. And like most jobs or careers, while they have their benefits they also have their problems which you can come across and have to overcome if you are to actually succeed as a freelance writer and forge a successful career as one.

And how do you overcome those problems when they arrive? How do you deal with them? And what are some or all of any problems that freelance writers might face today, or tomorrow? Are there only so many potential problems or an infinite amount? Only so many things can go wrong right? Well what could go wrong for you as a freelance writer, both as a rookie and a veteran? Let's have it out and talk about some of those potential problems and look at some of the possible solutions to them too!

3 Problems all freelance writers can face.

1. No clients / no sales / no money.
Let's face it it's always slow going at first unless you already have something working for you. Some way, some method or some website or app or something that you're using to find clients with. If you don't and you're starting out there are things you'll have to do to see the clients and sales rolling in. But tapping into these methods and sites etc that you can use in some way to find clients with and get those sales coming in is instrumental to getting them. It's do or die. Get rich or die trying! As they say. But it probably won't kill you to try and once you learn how to which you can quite quickly how to find clients to sell your freelance writing services too, those buyers and clients you need to give you good reviews and feedback that others can see and trust in you and you'll start making more sales and earnings that way.

But for many still it can be tough to get a lot of sales and it can seem daunting but through persistence which defeats resistance you can usually make some headway into solving this problem in time. It's not that hard to find clients and make sales using freelance writing platforms like WordClerks here and SEOClerks as all of course. But just overall and all round too if you learn how to tap into those methods that get you noticed and seen by people looking for the talented writing abilities you have!

2. Not enough time to put in / loss of sales
Sometimes one of the other biggest problems a freelance writer can face today would be finding the time to actually write and complete people's orders of your services. Although it's nice to get lots of orders and bank some cash, if you get huge amounts of them at once or all the time, your time will be spent managing them too as well as actually writing what they want. There's going back and forth as you liaison with your buyer/client on what they want. Then you're getting other orders for more articles by more people. And people being people, some of them are awkward or slow to respond which puts you out even more. And then there's keeping track of people's orders in an excel sheet or something. It can just all become too overwhelming for some people and they crack!

Are you a cracker or are you a tough nut? Will you crack under the pressure and be able to successfully juggle and manage multiple orders and clients while getting their work done? You'll have to micro manage and make use of all the free time you have to do this else people could become upset and give you a bad review and not use you again which are other problems it leads to.

Well that's another one problem freelance writers can face when working out in the wild as it were. That's what's so great about WordClerks in that you can easily manage each order online and always be able to work with buyers easier and keep track of which orders are most important to work on. And plus with it being a safe and secure way to make money online working from home in your spare time or even full time, one that has thousands of users and many more buyers out there, all this and more, it really is the best solution to this problem! 3 Problems any Freelance Article Writer may Face and the Solutions to them

Writers block can be a problem if your job is to write stuff! Even some of the greatest writers of all time suffered from it. But overcome and went on to write historical and famous book, stories and novels and more. But sometimes still, you can hit a brick wall and run out of ideas or aren't sure how to write about something let alone what to write about it. Any freelance writer will tell you they have had some strange article writing jobs at times on things that threw them off and caught them by surprise and put their article writing skills to the test!

So that can be a problem but it's usually overcome by just researching it. Reading about it for a while. Getting clued up on it and then thinking about ways in which you can write something about what you've learned. One way to get clued up fast is to check out of use one of the hundreds of content generation ideas out there which you can apply to ANY niche. Of even just use a content generator tool for content ideas and topics, questions and more. Those topic generation tools are pretty much all you'll ever need for any niche though no matter how strange or obscure the content is you need to write as a writer and author. 3 Problems any Freelance Article Writer may Face and the Solutions to them

Well that's basically 3 problems freelance content writers might face in today's freelance writing industry and 3 possible solutions to dealing with and overcoming them.

When I started how as a freelancer with writing my basic skill as of then, I really thought it was going to be an easy journey, but I got to found out that it is one I need to put lots of efforts. I am glad that I persisted and today, things are working fine for me.

Point one is the problem I used to be facing for a very long time until I decided to focus on paid to post forums instead. It is really not easy for newbies to get clients.
You gave wordclerks as a solution to one of the points. I am really not familiar with the interface for wordclerks or seoclerks and that is why I haven't put my skills yet.

You can also use social media network as a means to get your posts reaching the targeted audience and before you know it, you become quite popular which will culminate in bring those clients that would be happy to see you write for them. I would be glad to read it works out for you.

Thanks for this suggestion. I just noticed that someone can include posting on forums as a skill and charge for it too. I saw on the market place where someone was charging $3 for 6 posts on a forum. I want to try that one first before I focus on articles.

Just like any writer, a freelance writer is prone to writer’s block. When you had written a lot and got tired of too much research and reading, it is understandable that it would be difficult to write. The best thing to do is to quit writing. Stand up, walk away from your writing area, do some other things like conversing with people or going out. Would you believe that I go shopping to relieve me of writer’s block? And although shopping takes a lot of time, it is worth it especially when I was able to buy something that I like.

Thanks for the article I've been posting for word clerks for months now but I still haven't really browsed this site when it comes to writing jobs. I'll take a look after i finish this.

Now, the problems I usually encounter in writing jobs are:

Continuity of work- it's a miracle if I get 2 writing jobs per month. This is because the good opportunities are too few and there's a lot of freelancers out there looking for it .

Giving out late instructions- i already started working and half way through, I'll be receiving another set of instructions that causes a revision and more time wasted to finish it. Whenever this happens the deadline period stays the same.

Payments- getting paid takes weeks which isn't fair for freelancers who needs quick money.

@kakashi2020 you are so right. The tribulations of a freelance writer are many. Payment is definitely one of the biggest problems. Your client can refuse to pay claiming that your article is low quality and still end up using your article. In most cases the instructions are sketchy and if your strong minded and refuse to take on the work unless you are clear, you run into big problems writing an articles that is not upto the clients specification. Freelancer writing is not quick easy money in my opinion and experience.

I can relate to this one. I exert too much effort in writing an article for my clients but since I am still starting off, so my rate are still low.

To be honest, I have faced all the things you have listed. When I started writing, number one was the biggest challenge, and I almost gave up.
