Tips for those needing article ideas

There are times when I just do not have anything to write about or can not think of anything. I used to go crazy thinking of new ideas to write about. Now, I carry a small notebook with me in my purse. When a new or good idea hits me, I jot it down. The other day at the store, a person said a quote that I found to strike me, so I wrote that down, thinking I could generate an article from that. I get inspiration from those around me, the news, quotes, things I see. It makes writing so much easier now!

Carrying a notebook is a great idea to generate ideas. There are so many wonderful sources that spark ideas. I think that news articles are good to get ideas from, as well as quotes. You can often spark great discussions off quotes!

I agree with you. I also bring along a small pencil with a small piece of paper in my bagpack. Anything that caught my attention , I would jot them down just in case they can be part of my article writing category. In addition, I take photos as I walk in the mall, waiting at the bus stop, I could see the daily life of different people and what is happening on the streets. These are useful for article writing.

Go to the library! Seriously. Once you ran out of ideas for your articles, you can always go to the library and search all the books there to have your mind create something new or something relevant to that. You can also look into newspapers. They tend to have a lot of topics and discussions specially in the editorial section, wherein you can always try to make something out from those articles there and modifying it by adding your own personal views and experiences, etc.

I also get inspired by people around me, how they make me feel, their life stories and things I see. I find your method to be very easy. I rarely carry notebooks around but I will start doing so because I am able to gather many ideas daily.

I also collect ideas using my phone for noting down whatever idea that comes to my head. My mind is usually fertile when I am driving by myself so my phone is always ready. When I am with someone and we are on a casual conversation, I also get some ideas from what we are talking about. Just like last Christmas when I was talking with so many people in our family gathering, I was able to make a long list of ideas.

Whenever I run short of ideas I usually go through magazines, newspapers, watch documentaries or simply surf online. These have always helped me to get something to write for my blog. This process also allows me to learn new things. I usually conduct research before writing my articles as I like to provide quality content and accurate information to my visitors.

This is a great idea. Content ideas are hard to come by. Personally I like to write about topics I am familiar with and I have personal experience in . Your analysis then comes from a place of knowledge. It's easier to come up with content and to advise people.I think carrying a notebook and jotting down ideas in moments of inspiration is a genius idea. I will be sure to implement this.

Ideas make content. These ideas are not lacking but what lacks is proper content for the occasion. Here are ways if getting ideas

. From reading other blogs, news and books.

. By having the ear to the ground the way you do.


. At the spur of the moment.

. Dreaming about them.

Generating new ideas is not that complicated. Everyone seems to complicate it. When you are writing you generally just need to write about things that are going on around you. Or things that people are looking for an answer about. Your writing needs to add more angels to what already exists. The best way I have found of doing this is and being original is looking around you and talking to people. They are people who have forums and blog comments as part of their list for research, simple.
