Writing e-books and selling them at competitive prices can be a very lucrative way to earn money out of one's writing and technical skills. We may not have what it takes to be another J.K. Rowling, but if we have specific skills and knowledge that we can share through e-books, then it's worth taking the chance. Having your own blog and getting paid for sponsored posts can also add up. If we want fast and steady stream of income as writers without investing money and taking too much risk, content mills can provide that buffer. I also find it profitable to work on jobs that involve writing about user experience on certain websites or apps.

It isn’t going to be easy, but obviously the best way of making money as a writer is selling novels. The problem here is that not everyone is going to be the next J.K Rowling and make literal billions from selling books. That being said, writing an ebook and selling it online still wouldn’t be a bad way of making money.

Another good way is to start a blog. It takes a lot more time investment upfront, but if you can get decent traffic to your website, a blog can be a pretty lucrative means of making cash. Not to mention that once you get a decent archive of posts, it’ll allow you to generate passive income.

Well there's a lot of ways but also lots of competition, writing as a form is somehow generic it differs on how a writer connects with the audience in my opinion. Also the content and topic is very crucial on how you maintain your stature as a writer. One option is maintaining an expertise on a certain topic like Nature, Sports, Entertainment Etc...

What comes to my mind right now is blogging. If you have the skills for writing and you have the time to write then it is a good idea to open up your own blog, have it monetized with ads and promote it to social media. That is one of the easiest way of earning decent money online. And if your blog becomes trending or viral then you can be an influencer and with your very popular blog, you can earn a lot of money.

With a lot of time and effort, a blog can definitely be a fantastic way of earning money from writing. Not to mention the fact that it acts as a live portfolio where you can show you work to potential clients who might want to hire you as a guest writer. It’s definitely worth investing one’s time in a blog. Like you mentioned though, there’s also the chance of going viral. No one ever knows or can expect if they’ll go viral or not, it’s like the lottery. But there’s always the chance that you might, and that can help bring in some serious traffic and income.

I think Blogging is really a great way to earn if one has a knack for writing. Although making money from a blog can be really difficult. You can't really earn by just creating a blog you must monetize it and monetizing it is a lot of work. It's not an easy thing, one needs to spend a lot of time and effort to have a successful earning blog.

Since there's a huge demand for bloggers nowadays, business owners are constantly on the lookout for good bloggers. This opens up bloggers to a lot of invites and possible income generating opportunities.

There are lots of ways through which one can make money online by using one's writing skills. If you are good at writing books (Both ebooks and hard copies), it can give a long way in helping one to earn money as a writer.

Becoming a webmaster is another way for one to earn money online as a writer. You can start up your own website, blog, forum and use Adsense on your site to monetize it. You can also join paid forum posting and earn money as well. Sites such as Fiverr, iwriter and Hirewriter can pay you well as a writer if you are able to get jobs on them.

Writing online can be very profitable especially if you concentrate on acquiring the right skills. Most writers are not born as many would have as belief, they are made. The best way to rip money from your writing skills is not writing for freelance writing sites but through blogging. You can put content out there that attracts traffic to your site and allows you to earn traffic and maybe sales. If you accomplish, this, you can make consistent passive income, with the effort you put in being the blog you create, once or twice a week.

I freelance through a few sites, and honestly some independent companies pay quite well. I do some travel writing about Japan and some sites I wish I could get more work through because they pay 50-60 US per article of around 2000 words - which to me isn't too difficult to write when it's content I know about!

Wow! This is a good way to improve our standard of living. The thing about writers that are always traveling is that it is always easier for them to find contents to write about since they are always on the move to get things better for them. You can't really work fine through getting them work pretty cool on that type of situation.

This is definitely one of the most profitable ways to earn from writing on a long-term basis. Once you get some decent traffic going, you can start monetizing your site through programs like AdSense or certain Affiliate programs, and you can generate both passive and active income. Either starting a blog or an article-based site is the way to go.

While a blog can still feel very professional, creating an article-based site where you can one day hire writers is an ambitious but potentially very lucrative goal.

You are very correct my friend with that assertion on having a website as one guaranteed means of making money online as a freelancer. The first hard phase is getting your new website up and running. Try as much as you can not to rely on free features for your website because it's going to have a negative impact on your business while using paid features will add more value to your website. Once the traffic starts coming up front, your breakthrough is sure.

One of the most profitable way to earn money through writing is selling eBooks. They're the most in demand form of writing today. They accessibility and ease of use allow more readers to keep finishing books faster than paperback copies. Though, it's not easy to market your books since there's lots of competition.

E-Books are really good moneymakers but nowadays a lot of people are doing it and the competition is getting steep. A lot of good published authors are now writing a lot of ebooks and capitalizing on their previews success they can earn easily. But for newcommers, and literally unknown writers it can be very very hard to achieve success.

We need to accept the fact that we will encounter failures, many times. As long as we are trying and not losing hope then we still have chance on success. And that quotation shows encouragement to the people actually, but not literally help us directly on whatever we want to do. It depends on the person's perception of how encouraging the quotation is.

Cashing in from books either offline or online is definitely the target of many writers. It is however difficult to get there without sufficient practice. One needs to hone their skills first through freelance articles. After that one can advance to having their own website and blogging can be a great way of testing how great people love the content one puts out. It would then be very easy to proceed to writting a book.
My thoughts.

One writer friend said that it is easy for a writer to write books but it's doubly hard to find a reader much more with a publisher. Unless you are a writer and publisher at the same time, selling your e-book is like peddling your wares to potential customers in the market. But once you become a established writer then you are on your way to the bank.

Writing novels are proven to be a great way to earn big but of course this will take time and a lot of work. Believe in your writing skills that you can do this. Write your best novel and submit them to publishers. You can still do work at the side while waiting for publishers to call you. This way, you are still earning while waiting to make it big. You can write as many quality novel as you can and submit them to see which among those novels would be a hit.

A lot of opportunities opened up for the writers as our technology continues in developing. I believe that the best among these is blogging. It is a great for writers who wants to share their creative contents with their readers. They create and share informative and creative contents/blogs that on the same time, they could earn money by blogging. Also, when they got successful in blogging, they could get a chance to endorse or advertise a certain product and that could be an additional way to earn money that on the same time, people will know his/her name, he will then became famous and trusted by readers.

Any site that offers to write papers for people whether it be a term paper, essay, or even a blog post must first past the test before they are allowed to write for the site. Each site has a standard for their writers. Each person who wants to work for these services is required to take an English test and to write a paper for the site. The site will determine if the person has the skill necessary to work for the site.

Basic content writing sites will take your order. You'll need to outline what you need and how many words the paper should be. The jobs are posted on the site and each freelance writer has the opportunity to select this job or not. The paper is written and you're given a copy of the work to proofread. At this time you can accept or reject the paper. You can also ask the writer to make editing changes to the paper. You are the one paying for the work so you need to be satisfied with the paper before you pay the writer.

Yes, I also think that if you want to earn big by writing then you have to be an author of books, a journalist, a blogger, or a columnist. Take note, those are professional jobs. But in that way, you will earn more unlike being just a freelance writer though if you are lucky to find a client who employs writer for his/her business then it's good for you. I would also agree to others that writing isn't really an easy job for you to have a big amount of earnings. But if you are a hardworking man, then you will earn enough which makes you satisfied.

Do you want to make money with that? Then look for microniches and write about a particular topic that has a lot of demand.

Do you want to write for yourself? Then write anything.

The most important thing is that you write something that you feel good about, so you do not get bored afterwards.

I don't know where I read or heard this but someone said the most profitable way to make money is by creating a product that will continue earning money long after you get the job done.

Wherever there is the potential of earning passive income from your writing, that is where you'll make a lot of money (though yeah I must admit, "a lot" is subjective).

Starting a blog, writing an ebook, etc - those in my opinion are some of the most profitable ways of earning money from writing even though initially, for some time, your writing may not earn you much. You'll need to be patient and keep working hard.
